This bespoke kitchen was designed for a Victorian Townhouse in North London. Cabinets are finished in an Annie Sloan paint in Aubusson Blue with a top coat in wax. Brass knobs and pull handles. Bespoke wine rack makes great use of a narrow space, creating additional storage.

Tucked into a corner of the dining room, this butler’s pantry is small but has a lot of style, with its metal grout joints and oversize antiqued tile. Cheng Design pits hard-edged industrial materials — concrete block, galvanized siding, steel columns, stainless steel cable and welded I-beams — against softer residential elements, such as stained-wood siding and a grid of exposed wood framing that supports the roof. On the verge of a move across the country, these homeowners built a beautiful gate and fence line in their yard. The contemporary lines of the fence is simply lovely (see full photos of the finished project at photographer Eva Brennan’s site: http//www.evabrennan.com/1/post/2013/09/mission accomplished.html). The family used two different latches: The Modern Tapered Ring Latch and the Stainless Steel Ring Latch. They chose 10” Stainless Steel Strap Hinges with Pintles, as well as 18” Cranked Band Hinges.
