BeachHaus is built on a previously developed site on Siesta Key. It sits directly on the bay but has Gulf views from the upper floor and roof deck.
The client loved the old Florida cracker beach houses that are harder and harder to find these days. They loved the exposed roof joists, ship lap ceilings, light colored surfaces and inviting and durable materials.
Given the risk of hurricanes, building those homes in these areas is not only disingenuous it is impossible. Instead, we focused on building the new era of beach houses; fully elevated to comfy with FEMA requirements, exposed concrete beams, long eaves to shade windows, coralina stone cladding, ship lap ceilings, and white oak and terrazzo flooring.
The home is Net Zero Energy with a HERS index of -25 making it one of the most energy efficient homes in the US. It is also certified NGBS Emerald.

At the Galer Street Kitchen, our goal was to freshen up the space, create clever storage solutions, and create flow between the kitchen to an adjacent family room. We also wanted to infuse the space with light and make the space a little more contemporary, while keeping the kitchen classic and timeless.
We chose a gray and white palette with brass hardware and gray accented lighting. And we created a small peninsula for casual dining and conversation during parties. We went with glass cabinets near the window to increase the airy feel on that side of the galley kitchen.

Pool Area Lighting - this home in Lithia, FL has an amazing pool deck, but there were no plans for lighting and showcasing the architectural aspects of the space. Brilliant Nights designed and installed numerous fixtures into the hardscape surfaces to illuminate the bannisters, piers, columns and steps. We were not the original lighting company on this project (the other company lit the front of the home only). The first company said it was impossible to add lighting in the hardscape areas of the pool deck because it wasn't pre-wired. You can see from the pictures that it wasn't impossible or Brilliant Nights. We're proud of this project and have done many like it. A dark pool area comes to life with lighting to create a space that can be used well after dark.

Then it was only a matter of building a new balcony on top of the new joists. The whole project took about three days.

The homeowners approached us with an "impossible" task. They said they had spoken to contractors about connecting the main house with their existing 2 car garage. The contractors all said it was impossible and wouldn't look good. Also, the homeowners hated the Victorian style that the house had. So, we connected the house and the garage with a mud room and office and added a third bay on the garage. Then we changed the style of the house to a craftsman's style that suited the homeowners much better.

We wanted to create a welcoming statement upon entering this newly built, expansive house with soaring ceilings. To focus your attention on the entry and not the ceiling, we selected a custom, 48- inch round foyer table. It has a French Wax glaze, hand-rubbed, on the solid concrete table. The trefoil planter is made by the same U.S facility, where all products are created by hand using eco- friendly materials. The finish is white -wash and is also concrete. Because of its weight, it’s almost impossible to move, so the client adds freshly planted flowers according to the season. The table is grounded by the lux, hair- on -hide skin rug. A bronze sculpture measuring 2 feet wide buy 3 feet high fits perfectly in the built-in alcove. While the hexagon space is large, it’s six walls are not equal in size and wrap around a massive staircase, making furniture placement an awkward challenge
We chose a stately Italian cabinet with curved door fronts and hand hammered metal buttons to further frame the area. The metal botanical wall sculptures have a glossy lacquer finish. The various sizes compose elements of proportion on the walls above. The graceful candelabra, with its classic spindled silhouette holds 28 candles and the delicate arms rise -up like a blossoming flower. You can’t help but wowed in this elegant foyer. it’s almost impossible to move, so the client adds freshly planted flowers according to the season.

Very poor-quality fabrics
Beautiful design, but very disappointing product quality and customer service
I purchased Mika outdoor sectional sofas in 2022 (Order #1599844). By 2024, despite meticulous care (stored indoors every winter), the seating already shows 5 tears.
The fabric is of questionable quality—worse than that of some low-end outdoor furniture. A tiny hole quickly grows and becomes impossible to control…
I reported the issue to customer service, but no solution was offered. It’s even impossible to purchase matching fabric to reupholster the seats.
I recommend avoiding this product, or at the very least—if you're willing to take the risk—covering it with protective covers after each use, as the fabric is extremely fragile.
