USE PAVERS TO BRING LIFE TO YOUR BACKYARD
Light-colored pavers (travertine or brick pavers) are a great option for a pool deck, as they’ll remain cool to the touch for bare feet, and paved flooring is a smooth foundation for a stylish outdoor kitchen or grilling area.

The "fake" dormer roofs above the second story windows were removed and the plain windows were replaced with Simulated Divided Light windows with white trim to lighten the appearance of the home. A new dormer to the left allows light into the interior and breaks up the large roof plane. The new bay windows, in place of the large windows flanking the door also add visual interest to the front facade. The covered portico is nicely detailed and also contributes to lightening up the brown brick.

Adding plenty of white elements allowed us to achieve a much lighter appearance of the brown brick, the color of which is the same as in the "before" photo.

For this home exterior renovation, we removed the existing gutters and downspouts, inspected and replaced any damaged siding, and improved attic ventilation by cutting openings in the eave soffits. To enhance energy efficiency and create a smooth surface, we installed ¾” insulation board, followed by house wrap for added protection. The home was transformed with CertainTeed Monogram .046 vinyl siding in Smokey Gray (clapboard style) on the lower portion and white board and batten siding on the upper portion, separated by a stylish belly band. New vented vinyl soffits, custom bent aluminum trim, and detailed trim work around windows, doors, and fixtures add to the crisp, modern aesthetic. This stunning update improves both curb appeal and long-term durability.
