The furniture was recently purchased so we really needed to get the job done in bedding, color, patterns, and infusing some key pieces/accessories to work in conjunction with the youthful furniture selection.
The inspiration to her design came from a Designers Guild wallpaper that resembled the color of the sky…from there we changed the wall color to a soft gray, added new bedding and pillows, gave the window treatments a neutral texture, changed out overhead lighting and lamps and infused some current accessories.
The change was exactly what was needed! But….we weren’t quite finished. We decided at that point that some extra storage was needed as well as an opportunity to bring that outdoor woodsy feeling into her room. We then changed her nightstand to more of a dresser wrapped in the gloss white and drawers in reclaimed wood.
What a difference!!! But, collectively we still I felt we needed one more change to give her room that “wow” factor. I then decided to change the drama of her existing headboard to one that was spectacular!! And it worked!!!
We are still in the process of changing out her desk, but for the most part we are there!!!

Walking into this wine cellar holding 1900 bottles initially takes your breath away. The racking was made out of a clear-coated All Heart Redwood. The different elevations of the floor to ceiling racking as well as the different bottle display angels keeps your attention while gazing around the room. The back arched area is the main focal point of the room, while standing outside the cellar. However, once inside the cellar, the colorful stained glass instantly captures your attention (designed by Designer Glass Mosaic). Two glass cabinets were designed to store a large number of stemware and other glass accouterments. The custom ladder was built to provide access to the hard to reach special wines. Sliding case storage shelves gives the homeowner space to store the special wood wine cases. The two doors were custom built out of All Heart Redwood and the tabletop was made out of infused wine barrel wood.

Featured in Dwell, Hacienda Granada is an eclectic modern residence designed by Working Holiday Studio that subtly combines the Spanish influences of a Mexican hacienda with Scandinavian minimalism and features All Weather Architectual Aluminun custom windows and doors.
Carlos Nuade and Whitney Brown run Working Holiday, a multi disciplinary creative studio based in Los Angeles that boasts a portfolio of several renovation projects across Southern California.
Originally built in 1962, the 2,762-square-foot residence with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths was not the couple’s dream home but they saw potential in its vaulted ceilings, ample-sized kitchen, backyard pool and large garage and more importantly, they found a space where they could infuse with their own personal history and distinct taste. "Our style is very modern and minimalist," Carlos explains. "But we still wanted to include some of the warmth, accents, and tones from traditional Spanish architecture."
Carlos and Whitney chose All Weather Series 5000 casement and fixed windows with SDL's to infuse the home with the Hacienda vibe. They replaced the existing patio entry door with expansive Series 8100 Multi Slide Doors that connect to the living and dining room. The couple opened up the kitchen by adding an All Weather Series 7000 French Doors and repositioned the island so you can see into the house when they are cooking. They also reshaped most of the interior doorways, creating arches to enhance the Spanish-Mexican vibe.
All Weather was honored to be selected for Hacienda Granada because Carlos and Whitney treat their projects like showrooms and they only bring on brands they like and curate the space accordingly.

Boho meets Portuguese design in a stunning transformation of this Van Ness tudor in the upper northwest neighborhood of Washington, DC. Our team’s primary objectives were to fill space with natural light, period architectural details, and cohesive selections throughout the main level and primary suite. At the entry, new archways are created to maximize light and flow throughout the main level while ensuring the space feels intimate. A new kitchen layout along with a peninsula grounds the chef’s kitchen while securing its part in the everyday living space. Well-appointed dining and living rooms infuse dimension and texture into the home, and a pop of personality in the powder room round out the main level. Strong raw wood elements, rich tones, hand-formed elements, and contemporary nods make an appearance throughout the newly renovated main level and primary suite of the home.

We overhauled the foyer to make a statement the moment you walk in. Once you step inside you’re greeted by twin, full-length mirrors flanking you on either side with tempered glass shelves. This allows the light from this old home to filter better through the entryway.

This hygge-infused space was finished beautifully with minimalist details like a versatile area rug, inspired coffee table and shelf styling, a built-in nook for stacking firewood (have you ever seen anything more #RusticChic in your life?) and plenty of scrumptious decorative pillows and throw blankets.

This uptown condo overlooking Klyde Warren Park was the perfect canvas for our unique, eclectic and modern design approach. We transformed the space with a mix of bold printed grasscloth, luxurious marble and rich fabrics, infusing personality into every corner. The kitchen received a stunning facelift with a striking waterfall peninsula, while the den’s bar area became a bold statement of style. With carefully selected art, furnishings, lighting and accessories, we created a cohesive and elevated aesthetic that perfectly reflects the homeowners’ vision. The result? A home that not only wows but feels deeply personal and inspiring.

Space planning and careful balancing of scale is crucial for small spaces. Infused with urban glamour this open space concept is big on style. Panel moulding, warm metal finishes and neutral colour scheme adds an air of sophistication.

When we met this family of 5 (months from being a family of 6!), their first floor felt outdated and disconnected. They dreamed of a space that felt light and airy, yet infused with rich, earthy materials to create warmth and add bold character. More than just a refresh, they needed a functional layout that worked for everyday life—cooking, laundry, entertaining friends, and even unwinding with a cocktail at the end of the day.
Extending the kitchen into the morning room seating area enhanced both flow and functionality, while a spacious island became the heart of the home—ideal for casual family meals, meal prep, and hosting friends. A dedicated beverage station with a sink, refrigeration, and an awning window for indoor-outdoor entertaining allows for an effortless transition from morning routines to afternoon snacks on the patio.
The laundry room was designed with designated storage for all four kids, creating an organized and functional space. It also serves as a practical landing zone when entering the home, seamlessly extending the light and airy theme with thoughtful design details and playful touches.
