The new design expanded the footprint of the home to 1,271 square feet for the first level and 1,156 for the new second level. A new entry with a quarter turn stair leads you into the original living space. The old guest bedroom that was once accessed through the dining room is now connected to the front living space by pocket doors. Our client wanted a rustic chic look for their covered porch. We gave the crown molding and trim a more formal look, but kept the roof more rustic with open rafters. This small but very detailed space has all the wonderful accommodations needed for an urban rooftop. Flat screen TV, grill, heat lamp, fire table, and storage. We took the pattern from the chair and recreated it in the fire table. This custom table ties it all together nicely. All while siting in a lush garden that surrounds the seating area. Making it cozy and colorful.

The children's bathroom has playful wallpaper and a custom designed vanity that integrates into the wainscot around the room. Interior Design by Ashley Whitakker.

Our Most popular laundry utility room is also one of our favorites too! Front loading washer dryer, storage baskets for laundry detergent, large deep drawers for sorting clothes. Plenty of sunshine and Views of the yard. Functional as well as beautiful! Former attic turned into a fun laundry room!
