Featuring a spectacular view of the Bitterroot Mountains, this home is custom-tailored to meet the needs of our client and their growing family. On the main floor, the white oak floors integrate the great room, kitchen, and dining room to make up a grand living space. The lower level contains the family/entertainment room, additional bedrooms, and additional spaces that will be available for the homeowners to adapt as needed in the future.

We remodeled this 5,400-square foot, 3-story home on ’s Second Street to give it a more current feel, with cleaner lines and textures. The result is more and less Old World Europe, which is exactly what we were going for. We worked with much of the client’s existing furniture, which has a southern flavor, compliments of its former South Carolina home. This was an additional challenge, because we had to integrate a variety of influences in an intentional and cohesive way.
We painted nearly every surface white in the 5-bed, 6-bath home, and added light-colored window treatments, which brightened and opened the space. Additionally, we replaced all the light fixtures for a more integrated aesthetic. Well-selected accessories help pull the space together, infusing a consistent sense of peace and comfort.

Bathroom - mid-sized rustic 3/4 vinyl floor and brown floor bathroom idea in Seattle with flat-panel cabinets, black cabinets, an integrated sink, quartz countertops, white countertops and white walls

This residence had been recently remodeled, with the exception of two of the bathrooms. Michael Merrill Design Studio enlarged the downstairs bathroom, which now has a spa-like atmosphere. It serves pool guests as well as house guests. Over-scaled tile floors and architectural glass tiled walls impart a dramatic modernity to the space. Note the polished stainless steel ledge in the shower niche. A German lacquered vanity and a Jack Lenor Larsen roman shade complete the space.
Upstairs, the bathroom has a much more organic feel, using a shaved pebble floor, linen textured vinyl wall covering, and a watery green wall tile. Here the vanity is veneered in a rich walnut. The residence, nestled on 20 acres of heavily wooded land, has been meticulously detailed throughout, with new millwork, hardware, and finishes. (2012-2013);

We built this bright sitting room directly off the kitchen. The stone accent wall is actually what used to be the outside of the home! The floor is a striking black and white patterned cement tile. The French doors lead out to the patio.
After tearing down this home's existing addition, we set out to create a new addition with a modern farmhouse feel that still blended seamlessly with the original house. The addition includes a kitchen great room, laundry room and sitting room. Outside, we perfectly aligned the cupola on top of the roof, with the upper story windows and those with the lower windows, giving the addition a clean and crisp look. Using granite from Chester County, mica schist stone and hardy plank siding on the exterior walls helped the addition to blend in seamlessly with the original house. Inside, we customized each new space by paying close attention to the little details. Reclaimed wood for the mantle and shelving, sleek and subtle lighting under the reclaimed shelves, unique wall and floor tile, recessed outlets in the island, walnut trim on the hood, paneled appliances, and repeating materials in a symmetrical way work together to give the interior a sophisticated yet comfortable feel.

Let’s walk through the Campbell home addition. We’ve expanded the living room with gorgeous hardwood floors, custom built-in shelving, and a traditional gas fireplace as the centerpiece. The open layout flows into the updated kitchen, framed by new French doors and large windows for plenty of natural light. We added elegant wainscoting and a brass chandelier in the dining room, keeping a timeless feel. Crown molding and recessed lighting finish the space, blending classic charm with modern convenience.

This collection of four residential remodel and addition projects across the City of Boulder reflects Nicole’s thoughtful, detail-driven approach to transforming existing homes. Each project balances the constraints of working within established neighborhoods and strict local regulations with the opportunity to reimagine spaces for modern living.
From interior reconfigurations to carefully integrated additions, these homes were redesigned to improve flow, bring in natural light, and create a stronger connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Nicole guided each project through feasibility, design, and the complexities of City of Boulder Planning and Development Services, helping homeowners navigate permitting, zoning, and review processes with clarity and confidence.
The result is a set of highly tailored homes that feel both refreshed and enduring—designed to support the evolving needs of each family while respecting the character of their surrounding context.

This architectural renovation and custom home addition transformed a French Country residence in Lake Mary, Florida into a timeless luxury estate. Carefully integrated additions, handcrafted brick, natural stone detailing, and thoughtful design enhance both functionality and curb appeal while honoring the home's original architectural character.

The upstairs kids bathroom accommodates a double vanity so that the kids can get ready for school at the same time. Green wall sconces, robe hooks and a shower curtain are subtle yet playful accents that bring colour and life to the bright, white room.
