The rugs under the DR table is from Tufenkian, the foreground rug is Tiger Rug. I worked with Brian Kawal to design the dining chairs and Brian created the DR table in mahogany. Inspiration for a contemporary attached two-car garage remodel in Salt Lake City

This room is the Media Room in the 2016 Junior League Shophouse. This space is intended for a family meeting space where a multi generation family could gather. The idea is that the kids could be playing video games while their grandparents are relaxing and reading the paper by the fire and their parents could be enjoying a cup of coffee while skimming their emails. The project began with audio/visual and Internet work. We installed four high-end Samsung large-screen 4K TVs throughout the condo, hung on four Peerless ultra-slim full-motion mounts with no exposed cables and all equipment hidden from view. We then added two Niels infrared signal extenders to allow control of the hidden A/V equipment from most areas of the condo, and two Sonos amplifiers to ensure high-quality audio throughout. And for uninterrupted, high-speed Internet connectivity for all devices throughout the home, we installed Apple Airport Extreme WiFi access points with 802.11ac support.

After nearly eight years, it was time to perform a "technology remodel" on this home. We upgraded nearly every facet of the system, including new TVs, lift mechanisms, audio/video equipment, lighting controls, and a slick new Apple based automation and control system. The client now has simple control of nearly all the technology in their home from an iPad, iPhone, or wireless remote. We also included bullet-proof WiFi and a robust computer network, so they can enjoy ultra-fast internet and seamless connections throughout the home.

To compliment this indoor-outdoor vision, Beasley choose a mix of simple, natural materials, such as concrete, wood, stone and steel. These common materials were used in inventive ways to create interest and to keep the connection to the exteriors. Textural chiseled stone was juxtaposed with sleek quartz countertops; wood and concrete were mixed to form unexpected flooring patterns; wood and steel were designed to form the unique stair case extending into the balcony, central to the gathering and amenity areas; lineal walls patterns were designed out of striated wood selections, and exposed brick was specified for the large 2-story glass entry foyer wall. One of the most captivating of Beasley & Henley’s design elements is the ‘living wall’ which holds greenery and live plants all year long.

In 2016, Edna who is the interior designer from Los Angeles knew OPPEIN on the Internet by OPPEIN projects, so he connected with OPPEIN online first, and talked about his project, one of his houses interior cabinets need. After preliminary communication with OPPEIN team, Enda decided to visit OPPEIN factory to check out the cabinets designs and quality on site. He thought OPPEIN would be a good fit for his project because OPPEIN had worked on a series of ranch home cabinets. That year, OPPEIN team received Edna and showed him around OPPEIN showroom and factory, then further details discussions going on.
