Custom everything on this one. A pergola with raised Ipe deck plank and 3 adjustable roof panels. Privacy panels at the rear to act as a wind blocker and gives you plenty of privacy. Does it get any better than this? Tyrone Mitchell Photography

The design for our tapestry Lady in Blue is based on an iconic look of the Italian fashion house Miu Miu. The different watercolor techniques create a tension between the soft fur, the smooth skin and the layered background. Due to her background as fashion designer, she is fully fascinated by textile and material texture. This is reflected in this portrait through the usage of sensitive colors and sophisticated fabric expressions. The Lady in Blue wallcloth is part of the Urban Cotton Collaborations collection. Want to know more about Charlotte? Then read the interview with her on our designers pag

I have been working as a kitchen and bath designer in the Pacific Northwest for 13 years. I love engaging with new clients, ascertaining their needs through various interviews and meetings and then collaborating as we build their finished concept together. The variety of design styles, room layouts and function changes so much between one person and the next that no two finished products are remotely the same. This fluidity allows for endless possibilities for exploration in my field. It keeps the job interesting and has always given me a particular sense of reward and accomplishment as we near completion. The greatest personal recompense in this chosen profession is being able to walk with a client through this process and come out the other side with that client feeling elated with the end result.

We interviewed Chad(left) and Bobby(right), the team of Everett installers who worked on this job! Bobby, What got you into this profession? My father did a LOT of carpentry and home improvement projects. I've been building things since 16 years old and started in the concrete business, and eventually found my way to Renewal! Chad, what was your favorite tool? Cutback tool. It's the only custom tool we use. Chad, what was unique about this job? Definitely the homeowner, we listened to a ton of 80s country music! She loved her dogs and when we told her we had a selfie competition, she had the idea to dress up her dogs so we could take a photo with them in front of the patio door we installed.
