The Pool BossThe Pool Boss transformed this Caldwell, NJ property into an outdoor living space full of amenities. The home and surrounding grounds represent a true blend of rustic and elegant, so it is only fitting that the homeowner chose “The Harmony” pool. Perfectly suited to the home itself, it also expresses a beautiful synergy of classic and modern pool elements.
External steps descend into this stunning free-form pool which was also fitted with deck jets and a swim-out in the deep end! Perhaps the most exciting water feature is the adjacent fieldstone hot tub which contains a “spillover” waterfall into the pool. A vibrant fire bowl sits on either side.
The surrounding paving stone patio provides style + generous space for poolside lounging. On the opposite end, a handsome fieldstone fire pit provides a cozy gathering space for the colder months. A thin border of shrubs & river stones creates dimension and separates the water space from the green space.

Hummels LandscapeThis project was a renovation of an existing in-ground swimming pool in disrepair. Working closely with our friends at Aquavisions, the pool and it's surroundings were renovated to include an automated cover, deck water jets, and a water slide. The pool now acts as the centerpiece of this stunning terraced backyard fit for entertaining and relaxation alike.
Working with the existing brick-faced retaining walls sitting high above the pool deck, the Hummel's team got to work building new mosaic style walls using Techo-Bloc's Baltimore wall in two sizes.
The pool patio features the clean lines of the Umbriano paver from Unilock with a Copthorne border. Lush plantings soften the hard lines of the pool and masonry work. To set the ambience, a landscape lighting system was installed, uplighting features across the terraces, as well as the hardscaping itself.

DDLA Design Landscape ArchitectureCompleted in 2020, this impressive luxury estate was went through a complete renovation of the house and the entire property and gardens.
This expansive estate creates a private oasis and retreat in the middle of Dallas. The estate includes a private lake with fountain features and stocked with fish, impressive entry gates, an expansive new driveway and front motor court arrival area, grand steps, stone retaining walls and a meandering path that wraps around the lake and offers a wonderful walking experience around the property. The gardens are spectacular and feature a variety of blooming shrubs, perennials and flowers to create a year round experience of color and texture for the owners. The perimeter of the property features mature privacy hedges and trees strategically placed to enhance the views from the house, while still providing glimpses into the property for the neighborhood.
The existing swimming pool was completely renovated to create a tanning shelf for chaise lounges as well as a decorative tile, new plaster and canon fountain jets along the side to provide additional interest. The pool terrace, walkways and all exterior patios feature a beautiful limestone material that dresses up the outside living areas. Adjacent to the pool, the existing cabana structure was redone to create an outdoor kitchen and bar seating for friends and family.
The wrap around porches on the backside of the house create inviting spaces for entertaining and offer incredible vistas overlooking the gardens and lake.
In addition to the expansive garden areas, we planted dozens of mature and specimen trees throughout the property to help provide an instant impact and to also provide the garden another layer of beauty in the fall with the various fall colors offered by the tree selections.
Along side the lake, we created multiple seating areas that offer the owners the opportunity to entertain and enjoy the property from many different angles and at different times of day. A large fire pit terrace was also included beside the lake creating a spectacular experience of water and fire.
We also created recreation areas on the property for kids and adults alike. There is a dedicated playground areas with a large swing set for the kids as well as a new putting and chipping green to practice your short game.

Flapper Girl Productions (FGP)I took this plain white bathroom and painted the walls caliente red and the ceiling jet black, so the 1920's black and white marble floor would be showcased. This off-set the black granite sink-top and created a beautiful hue in the wall to wall vanity mirror as the black faded into a red background behind one's reflection. The cream doorway creates a bold space.

Construction Straight UpThe homeowners wanted to remodel their outdated bathroom into a luxurious spa-like sanctuary with a transitional aesthetic. Since there are other tubs in this house, the decision to get rid of the roman tub was made. This left space for an oversized spa shower. The old, dark corner shower became an amazing linen closet - something this bath did not have. The curb-less shower with an oversized shower head, hand-held faucet and shower jets in brushed nickel along with its tile focal point, niche and barn- door shower door sets the tone for this amazing transitional spa-like bathroom. Adding new large format tile flooring, painting the existing cabinets and walls, adding a quartz countertop and brushed, nickel, transitional faucets completes the look. The new bathroom even includes a new bidet. This luxury bath remodel hits all the notes of a transitional, spa- like environment with its serene colors and luxurious finishes.

Michael Nash Design, Build & HomesThis couple dreamt of having a spa-like master bathroom for their home. Their prior master bathroom was limited and did not have ample space to accommodate all their needs.
We suggested taking advantage of some of the spare room area next door, to enlarge the master bathroom. The remaining area of that spare room became a dressing room with new windows to allow daylight and to join new custom closet room.
Another desire was separate his and her commode/bidet rooms. We designed two dedicated areas for them with a middle area provided for a large set of whirlpools under the window.
The remaining space from adjacent room turned into a large gorgeous floor to ceiling, stone covered walk-in shower with multi showerheads, rain shower, body spray and other amenities. Adjacent to the left, there is a large wall covered with double vanities, custom cabinets, glamorous lighting and other features.
We added large scale porcelain floor tiles with heated floors, decorative glass accent of shower and vanity walls.
A frost glass door to the master bathroom, toilet room and dressing area allows maximum daylight into this distinct and classy master bathroom.
Additionally, vanity walls with vessel sink, wall mount faucet and wallpaper looking custom back wall tile finishes this master bathroom.
