Chelsea’s kitchen blends intentional design with everyday living in the most beautiful way. From the ceiling-height Zellige tile to the warm wood island and glass-front cabinets, every detail feels curated. “I wanted to design a space where my family felt welcome to spend time together,” Chelsea said. “After living through a 6 month long renovation project and eating takeout or food cooked solely in a microwave or grill, we dreamed of finally eating in our kitchen. One of our favorite family meals is a warm chicken pot pie, which was our first dinner in the new kitchen. The kids were so excited to finally have our family dishes back on the menu!”

Major renovation to a beautiful old Victorian outside of Boston. We opened up the kitchen to expose the original pantry, restored the old wood cabinets and painted the interiors a beautiful shade of navy blue. Exposed brick and added on a much needed mudroom and new entry to the kitchen, we were able to expose the back stair case and added batten and board on the walls. Beautiful. This spacious kitchen design in Yardley is a bright, open plan space bathed in natural light from the large windows, doors, and skylights. The white perimeter cabinets from Koch and Company are complemented by handmade subway tile and MSI Surfaces Calcatta Venice quartz countertop. The white color scheme is beautifully contrasted by blue island cabinetry with a bi-level countertop and barstool seating. The island also includes a Task Lighting angled power strip, a narrow wine refrigerator, and a white Blanco Siligranit apron front sink with a Riobel Edge faucet and chrome soap dispenser. The kitchen cabinets are accented by Top Knobs Lydia style pulls in chrome. Bosch stainless appliances feature throughout the kitchen, including a microwave drawer and a Bosch stainless chimney hood. Dark hardwood flooring from Meridian brings depth to the style. The natural lighting is complemented by pendant lights from Wage Lighting, undercabinet lighting, and upper glass front cabinets with in cabinet lighting.

The backslash is really taking a presence in this photo. The cabinets to either side of the hood have an antiqued mirror with pewter wire mesh, this is a great way to keep your storage behind the doors hidden but still giving the space an interesting spin.
