This Custom Outdoor Kitchen reflects a collaboration with some pretty wonderful clients. The Giardinello Team created a custom split face Scabos Travertine Backsplash, added Ledgestone facing and fabricated gorgeous, Limestone counters. Additionally we installed Scabos Travertine Pavers to create a beautiful new, enlarged entertaining space. A previous Olive Tree and awkward mounding were removed along with an outdated bbq surround. The space was just waiting to be opened up and leveled off. And now, look at that view!!! Check out the before shots.

In addition to utilizing stone masonry throughout the building, a significant amount of stone masonry is incorporated into the landscape design as well. Influenced by the site, the outdoor experience is articulated with low stone masonry site walls, creating defined outdoor areas. Furthermore, bluestone is employed to call attention to walk ways, terraces, and building entryways. The creative use of stone masonry in this project lends permanence to the residence while achieving the overall goal of designing a house inspired by the Prairie Style of Architecture.

In this view, the curved retaining wall guides the eye across a flowing expanse of newly planted grass. The lawn continues in the same graceful lines beyond the front walkway, creating a cohesive, unified look across the yard. Fresh plantings add texture and seasonal interest, while a background shrub promises to become a flowering highlight as it grows and matures. This layered design brings structure, softness, and long-term beauty to a once-simple front landscape.
