Momus is a wall light available in two versions: Momus and Momus mini; the former is bigger, the latter is smaller. Created in aluminium alloy with a wrinkled, white painted finish, it uses High Power LED bulbs (6 x 1,5 W or 14 x 0,2W).

But for others, it’s simply about discovering what feels most like “home.” Ashley Steele, the creator of A Styled Affair, was part of the latter group. “Since my husband and I were moving into a space that was previously owned, I needed a way to make it feel like it was truly ours, and unique to us,” she told our team. A Styled Affair sprang from Ashley’s passion for fashion, and need for a creative outlet. But it soon became more than that. She developed a following, and it quickly became a place where she could share her personal style, travel adventures, and lifestyle tips. “While the blogging industry has become overwhelmed with people sharing their favorite home decor or make-up tips, I think what sets A Styled Affair apart is my commitment to stay true to my unique taste. I have always marched to the beat of my own drum – and that carries through in the clothes I wear, the decor I select for our home, and the travels I plan.” Paintzen connected with Ashley as she was settling into her new home in Boston’s Seaport District. Although she and her husband have lived in Boston for almost 8 years, they were used to smaller, more traditional spaces. Their new home is much bigger, and more modern, than any place they lived before. “I wanted to select colors of comfort, simplicity, and sophistication so we could elevate the space and make it feel more like a home.” Ashley also accurately pointed out that new construction can sometimes feel a little cold and sterile, almost industrial. “I wanted our home to feel like a peaceful oasis after coming in from the bustling city.” Ashley chose soft white paint for her walls to bring a sense of comfort and zen. With lots of wall decor, art work and carefully selected furniture, the walls serve as a clean and comfortable palette, and allowed her more freedom when making her other design decisions throughout the space. Ashley kept the overall palette fairly neutral, and incorporated “modern bohemian” inspired decor throughout the home; the final product was clean and simple, and catered to her style. We asked Ashley what she was most excited for now. “I’m most excited to continue to find new decor pieces to compliment the paint colors and decor we’ve already found for the space. We have been really patient with decorating and selected each piece really careful to make sure it is cohesive and flows from room to room. I’m looking forward to enjoying the space with my husband and dog, and entertaining friends and family in the spring and summer!” A few final questions for Ashley on her experience with Paintzen: “I would highly recommend Paintzen to anyone, especially those that live in the city. In the residential periphery of Lisbon, two physicians are establishing a home to grow their family. The original interior was conscientiously updated to serve as a pristine haven for the pair of professionals with busy schedules. Neutral walls, left bare to the interplay between light and shadow, are humanized by a verdant leitmotif inspired by their love of outdoor travel. Custom furniture from local craftsmen features simple volumes in wood and white tones that evoke a sense of both the natural and the minimal. Robust yet luxurious, child- and pet-friendly materials dress the interior. The kitchen and dining room were united into one open entertaining space at the heart of the home. Composite countertops chosen to match the existing stone window sills allot ample workspace and serve as a buffet for the adjacent dining room. There, a custom-crafted table and floating shelf provide a neutral canvas for soirées, while mid-century chairs and a dry floral arrangement by a local ikebana artist add a spray of color. The kitchen entrance was transformed into a virescent, multi-purpose pantry corridor, complete with integrated refrigerator and freezer. A corner niche in the foyer features the ceramic sculpture Gato Assanhado (Hissing Cat) by Bordallo Pinheiro, and a bespoke mirror reflects upon double doors to a living room configured for both work and relaxation; a tailored desk and drawer unit support the former, an ample couch and welcoming armchairs the latter. Inspiration for a tropical family room remodel

When full-time Massachusetts residents contemplate building a second home in Telluride, Colorado the question immediately arises; does it make most sense to hire a regionally based Rocky Mountain architect or a sea level architect conveniently located for all of the rigorous collaboration required for successful bespoke home design. Determined to prove the latter true, Siemasko + Verbridge accompanied the potential client as they scoured the undulating Telluride landscape in search of the perfect house site. The selected site’s harmonious balance of untouched meadow rising up to meet the edge of an aspen grove and the opposing 180 degree view of Wilson’s Range spoke to everyone. A plateau just beyond a fork in the meadow provided a natural flatland, requiring little excavation and yet the right amount of upland slope to capture the views. The intrinsic character of the site was only enriched by an elk trail and snake-rail fence. Establishing the expanse of Wilson’s range would be best served by rejecting the notion of selected views, the central sweeping curve of the roof inverts a small saddle in the range with which it is perfectly aligned. The soaring wave of custom windows and the open floor plan make the relatively modest house feel sizable despite its footprint of just under 2,000 square feet. Officially a two bedroom home, the bunk room and loft allow the home to comfortably sleep ten, encouraging large gatherings of family and friends. The home is completely off the grid in response to the unique and fragile qualities of the landscape. The rug from the showroom isn’t exactly the rug that ended up in the dining room, however, as Jody knew she wanted to customize the colors. The original rug had some orange to it, but not quite the right orange. She also knew that she wanted to bring in vibrant purples, blues, and pinks, the latter of which brings a really fun pop to the room that Jody loves. The rug was a perfect way to marry all the things in the room, from the teal walls to the pink ottomans to the navy chairs with the hot pink piping.

EDEN is a family of products for relaxation and slumber, including a chaise longue, a bed and a sofa-bed. The particular feature of the collection is the original frame in metal and wood, entirely covered with cowhide, giving the product a precise connotation of luxury, functioning as the back of the chaise longue or the headboard of the bed and sofa-bed. In the daybed version the L-shaped back forms a support for soft down cushions. The bed comes with a base in wooden slats, with or without a storage compartment, and the headboard can be enhanced by two adjustable lateral wings that open to accommodate small bedside tables. The sofa-bed has a wooden slat platform and comes as a double bed or two twin beds; in the latter solution, the second extractable bed is raised off the ground with a simple touch of the foot, thanks to a patented mechanism that greatly facilitates the operation.

Deep brown on the walls and headboard, complemented by the calm blue of the bedding, lends a hushed tone to the space, ideal for a bedroom. Blue silk pillow shams are custom-made, as are the upholstered headboard and extra-long kidney pillow. Using quilted and embroidered fabrics for the latter items adds rich detail without breaking the bank. The bedside tables are a mismatched pair from the same furniture collection. To avoid the resulting different heights on the lamps, we selected wall-mounted sconces for bedtime reading.
