Master Bath view from far end - pocket door opens to custom closet/dressing room and through into Master Bedroom. Can we say "White" one more time? Dark crowded and cluttered original 1980's Master Bath is now a spa-toned bright space with linen closet and lavatory at far end. Extra-spacious step-in shower with roomy bench and shelf, luxury fixtures, partial frosted glass surround, and elegant neutral mix of tile-and-marble patterns make this an airy and very practical upgrade to a Master Bath that was crying out for some major help! Simple choices and limited colors and shapes unify the space and keep it classic and timeless.

The goal for our emerald and white kitchen design was to create a bold and functional kitchen for our sophisticated clients. They desired a more practical kitchen layout and a splash of color. Previously, the cooktop was located in the small center island with a very limited prep area on each side. In addition, there was not a focal point and the unsightly refrigerator was on the main focal wall. The designer completely reconfigured the space by placing the range on the main kitchen wall, topped with a showstopping new emerald kitchen hood as the focal point. A new built-in refrigerator was relocated to the opposite wall and a functional veggie sink was added in the center island. The clients requested a color palette that was anything but neutral, so the designer delivered with a bold green and white design to meet their request. Gold accents add additional sophisticated detailing. Bursts of green were incorporated throughout the space in the barstools, the kitchen island and in the custom breakfast area artwork commissioned especially for this project.

Adirondack Camp is a spirited interpretation of the local vernacular. Our clients had bought and extensively renovated a small old log cabin on a lake in the Adirondacks a couple of years before coming to us to help them expand the program with three additional bedrooms and bathrooms so that their whole family could be there together.
The addition we designed took the form of a tower, with one bedroom and bathroom on each floor, connected to the old cabin by a hyphen which serves as the new entry. The tower is visually a vertical foil to the more horizontal cabin and gives the master bedroom on the top floor a lovely view through the pine trees to the lake. One inspiration for the tower was the old fire towers that patrol the Adirondack mountaintops. The tower was also a practical response to a limited area for expansion.

Master Bath Shower Interior - we love the interplay of the ceramic and marble colors, shapes and tile patterning in this goreous shower. Can we say "White" or "Classic" just one more time? Dark crowded and cluttered original 1980's Master Bath is now a spa-toned bright space with linen closet and lavatory at far end. Extra-spacious step-in shower with roomy bench and shelf, premium fixtures, partial frosted glass surround, and elegant neutral mix of tile-and-marble patterns make this an airy and very practical upgrade to a Master Bath that was crying out for some major help! This 1960’s ranch in Fitchburg, MA had a kitchen with suspended cabinets and a very tiny work area. The suspended cabinets blocked the view of the large window looking at the backyard and made it difficult to visit with friends and family while working in the kitchen.
The homeowners were interested in having a kitchen where their extended family and friends could come and enjoy “hanging out” in the kitchen. We removed the suspended cabinets and installed an island where 4 to 5 people could “hang out” and talk to the cooks while they prepare the meal. We also added seating under the window by putting a very practical window seat. The window seat has drawers below for easy access seasonal storage.
We also made the cased opening to the dining room larger so when there is a very large gathering a couple of people can sit on stools looking into the kitchen. So now this once “small” kitchen with very limited seating can have several people visiting and yet not be bumping into those preparing the meals.

Creating your dream space in a rental home can sometimes feel limiting, but for this project we focused on unlocking colorful possibilities for our clients.
Originally, both office spaces were bare and clean but lacked personality.
Our goal was to level everything up while injecting more fun and flavor into the office spaces so they had Zoom-friendly backdrops that made them look forward to going into the office each day.
Her space was crafted to be fun, playful and full of texture.
A gorgeous wooden bookcase with a unique design accent at the bottom became one of the more practical features of the room while the Zoom-worthy artwork behind her desk gave her colleagues and clients an instant conversation starter.

All new Jack & Jill Bath between guest bedroom and child's bedroom, with separate toilet and shower/tub room opposite the double vanity wall. Again, neutral white-and-light-aqua interplay of the ceramic and quartz countertop colors with wallpaper and clever lighting choices. Yes, it looks like we really can we say "White", "Classic", and Timeless" again and again here. Dark original hall-entry bath is now a roomy and functional bright space. The thoughtful mix of patterns make this an airy and very practical upgrade to an Old School upstairs hall bath, Simple choices and -- once again -- very limited colors and shapes unify the space and keep it classic and timeless. Fun detail: turquoise-accented drawer pulls are playful and a sweet vintage touch.

Removing a wall in a small two-bedroom unit has resulted in a significant transformation. By opening up the space, a seamless connection has been established between the kitchen, dining area, and living room, creating a multi-functional and versatile area. The removal of the wall has eliminated the physical barriers that previously separated these spaces, fostering a sense of openness and facilitating better communication and interaction among family members.
The kitchen extension resulting from the removal of the wall has provided several practical benefits. Firstly, it has allowed for the expansion of the bench space, providing more room for meal preparation, cooking, and other kitchen activities. Additionally, the kitchen extension has led to an improvement in storage capacity. This means that kitchen utensils, appliances, and ingredients can be neatly organized and easily accessible, reducing clutter and enhancing efficiency in the kitchen.

With a limited existing floor area in the kitchen, one of the main goals of the client from the initial schematic design phase was to maximize the open floor area while avoiding any addition or structural redesign. To partially accomplish this, a full-height storage cabinet is recessed into the wall eliminating any projection into the kitchen and creating circulation around the island. Stacked wall appliances optimize the kitchen’s utility while simplifying exhaust and electrical runs for a cleaner layout. Large under-mount workstation sinks provide extra prep space, doubling as a countertop or cutting board when not in use. The remodel also features new multi-sliding doors that bring in much more natural light and allow the clients to use the patio as an overflow flex space when hosting parties or events. The end result is a warm, open, and highly personalized kitchen that blends beauty with practicality.
