At RCID, we don’t typically take on commercial projects—but when a returning client invited us to reimagine the lobby of their condo building at 225 25th Ave SW in Calgary, we couldn’t resist the opportunity. In collaboration with Crafted Edge Homes, we set out to bring a warmer, more residential feel to the common spaces of Riverscape, transforming them into areas that welcome residents home. The lobby received a complete refresh, including new tile, paint, vertical wood slats at the entry, upgraded signage, and a custom staircase feature that adds both visual interest and flow. Every floor above was painted using a unique technique to subtly draw attention to individual doors, giving each level its own personality while maintaining cohesion throughout the building.

This high-rise condominium building in downtown Chicago underwent an incredible transformation when we completed this commercial lobby remodel. This luxurious space is located at 653 N Kingsbury in the River North area, which boasts some of the most impressive architecture that the city has to offer. This project was a large-scale collaboration between Areté Renovators and Dirk Denison Architects to provide the client with the sleekest, structurally sound space possible.

The walls of this entry are clad in a porcelain tile, layed horizontally with a brushed nickle strip between, giving the illusion of running water. . The selection of furniture, accessories and artwork were Inspired by the neighbouring forest and creek.

Aronson’s designed the ombre tencel lobby area rugs and custom-design corridor carpeting for Bentley Bay condominiums in Miami Beach. The clients’ goal was to evoke the look and feel of the ocean throughout the space. The carpeting design process, which took just over a year to complete.
