Inspiration for a contemporary wooden open staircase remodel in New York

A seemingly minor but important touch is found below the Fijian Mahogany decking in the Cedar screened-in porch. A screen was placed in-between the framing joists and the decking to keep unwanted insects from getting in from underneath the porch.

Tucked into a corner of the dining room, this butler’s pantry is small but has a lot of style, with its metal grout joints and oversize antiqued tile. This Aurora sliding door is the first residential install of the product. It is often used in medical and office environments where privacy and soundproofing are critical and easy and complete closure is required. The space outside the bedroom does not allow for a standard door and so a header and support system was built to allow for the sliding door.
