This is the Vanity from our Master Suite Reconfiguration Project in Tribeca. Waterworks 'Henry' Fixtures were used throughout in Burnished Brass, which will age beautifully over time. Our GC developed a custom medicine cabinet with a metal frame to match the fixtures perfectly. Shaker Panels with a stepped detail, metal frames & applied mouldings set up a perfectly proportioned composition. Crown moulding was installed set off from the wall, creating a shadow gap, which is an effective tool in not only creating visual interest, but also eliminating the need for unsightly caulked points of connection, and the likelihood of splitting. The custom vanity was topped with a Neolith Estatuario product that has the look and feel of natural Statuary Stone, but better performance from a hardness and porosity point of view. Kelly Wearstler 'Utopia' Sconces and Shades of Light 'Moravian Star' surface lights were chosen to add a bit of flair to the understated transitional aesthetic of the project.

The EzyJamb Single Rebate (SRC) frames this door - aiding in the minimalist vision the project architect had for this space.

next project previous project In the historic community of Casa Blanca in Paradise Valley sits this beautiful and simplistic garden--one that is both secluded and peaceful due to its walled-in enclosures. The elegant foliage palette harmonizes outdoor living at its finest. Cast concrete slabs set the rhythm for the space while succulents and trailing herbs sneak through the hardscape breaks. The sense of privacy and calm created by the vined walls is unparalleled, especially when juxtaposed with the uplifting color from the fields of flax surrounding this truly unique secret garden in the Sonoran Desert.

Premonition by Jon Allen - JAC 195 The Jon Allen Collection is an exclusive, hand-selected group of my most personal work to date. Each piece is hand-painted on aluminum. My art itself and my chosen medium, aluminum, are blissfully married. You may not think of the word organic when you hear the word metal, but this is some of my most organic art and that’s simply because metal allows my work to achieve true sentience. Aluminum’s naturally reflective nature enables each color, shape, and stroke to reach its full potential. A new aspect of the painting will reveal itself to you as it basks in the light that surrounds, evades, or envelops it in that moment. When you see the piece from different angles, you will appreciate how vibrant, dynamic, and environmentally influenced these pieces are. What you may see and feel by morning is not what you’ll see or feel by dusk and in many ways, and as such I feel these pieces capture the ever-ebbing and complex nature of human emotion and perception. Some of these pieces are truly abstract while others are modern takes on traditional landscapes, marine life, and portraits. I hope you enjoy them a fraction of how much I enjoyed creating them. Featuring multiple star systems, this home is designed around its observatory tower. A straight run stair connects the main home to the tower, featuring custom millwork that preserves the open sightlines. The tower itself houses a wooden spiral stair with white oak treads seamlessly integrated into the metal structure. Residential space in North Park's newest building by Jeff Svitak. Space was decorated for a couple who support local artists and love music. We started with a soft velvet sofa (color: moss) that instantly softened this large concrete space. While working around this sofa, we came across the walnut furniture set - it blended right in with the earthy feel we were going for. Plants have a power of bringing any space to life so we added the intertwining money tree and a soft green tree (supposed to be a fast grower). Once the furnishings were in, we added the artwork - a final touch to make this space a client's home. photo - Hale Productions
