Solid Apollo LED. In this bar, the owner wanted to bring exciting colors to not only the main shelf areas, but to also highlight their signature drink they exclusively sold by them. In the main drink lower shelfs two sets of color changing LED lights were used. RGB LED Strip Light was placed along the front bottom edge of each shelf, and then placed in the hidden nook above each shelf section. In the upper cabinets, Warm White LED Strip Light along floor of both the front and back of the cabinet, to fully light up their signature drinks. Another row of warm white LED Strip light was used as seamless cove lighting above the cabinets, to continue the lighting style and for an extra hightlight of color. The entire installation is controlled by the DMX Boss, which can control up to 8 lighting zones and be controlled from any smartphone or tablet. For the lower drink shelves, the owner plays the pre-programmed color changing programs on each of the color changing LED strip light zones.

Basically all of these items under the counter normally would be difficult to see, but with under cabinet strip lighting, this couples selection of drinks is now easy to see. Here bright Daylight White LED Strip Light was attached to the under cabinets in this cozy condominium kitchen for a simple controllable accent light. Before the light was added, the decorative tile and other updates faded into the background. But with the bright LED lights, the modern tiles and countertops came to life. For the two corners, matching snap and lite accessories were used to create a solder-less connection. The total installation took under 20 minutes, helped by the easy cut points every several inches and the durable double sided tape. The entire system is controlled by the Gecko wireless 2 zone controller, which uses no wires to control the lights and is finished in an elegant white and glass design.

This was all at odds with the owners’ lifestyle and aesthetic. The client had architectural plans designed for a third floor addition that were to include a master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The desired look for the entire house influenced all aspects of construction. Apart from the removal most walls on the main floor, everything was stripped back to the most simple and pure of finishing materials. The existing floors were refinished in a smoked grey matte palette and offset the rich warm walnut accents in the kitchen and soft white walls. With an abundance of white walls throughout, feature walls were essential in both the master bedroom and ensuite. The deep charcoal wall in the bedroom provides dramatic contrast to the teak headboard and hammered silver light fixture. The ensuite’s feature wall is made of pewter ceramic tiles that add texture and elegance to this simple space. Materials and furnishings throughout were selected for their simplicity and form. This project was a new build, so the client’s wanted to make sure they were able to check off as many “wants” as possible, as well as their needs for the home. For the exterior, they wanted clean lines, not too busy and wanted to add some warmth around the front entrance, that would be a nice contrast against the cooler tones. Once you’re inside, they wanted the space to be open concept on the main floor, but we made sure to differentiate the areas by placing features along the walls, to give the illusion of separate rooms. The large sliding patio door allows so much natural light. The mono-stringer staircase with the structural glass railing! We wanted to keep the main floor as spacious as possible, so we opted to go with the glass panels; this way there are no visual obstructions with the standard spindles. The accent lighting throughout. We added LED strip lighting to some key areas of the home; the kitchen kickplate, the wine wall, in the ensuite niche, under the vanities in the common bath and ensuite and along the stairs. The vanity lighting is also controlled by a motion sensor, so you don’t need to worry about any overhead lighting in the early hours! This is a smart home; the blinds, interior and exterior lights and the locks are all able to be controlled remotely with apps! On the exterior, the light brick against the black aluminum items is a nice contrast to the warm wood tone on the metal siding around the front entrance. This house has a fully finished basement, with their own kitchen and bathroom, and it also has a separate entrance. By doing this, we gave the client’s an opportunity to use this space as an additional dwelling unit. They can rent it out for an additional source of income, or they can have their family stay there, whether it be for visiting, or a long term situation.

A neutral colour palette was the main aspect of the brief setting the tone for a sophisticated and elegant home. The main tile we chose is called "Paris White". It is a light colour tile with darker flecks and gently undulating vein patterning reminiscent of sandy shorelines. It has a smooth matt surface that feels lovely to the touch and is very easy to clean. We used this tile on both the walls and the floor of this Family bathroom. We combined the tile with feature mosaics and pebbles to add interest and texture. The mosaic has glass pieces which catch the light and reflect it. The pebbles have an impeccably smooth feel and while neutral in tone the variance in stone colours create a dynamic interplay. The brushed gold tapware possesses a gentle hue, and its brushed finish exudes a timeless, classic appeal.

A wood burning fire in the sitting area creates a toasty corner, even in an open plan room. A multi use space for entertaining and family life this project is still a hit, and a favourite of ours and the public. The space can be opened up to bring the outside, in. By opening up the huge sliding glazed doors onto the patio you create an even larger space where life can spill out into the garden, and equally lets nature into the home with a breath of fresh air. These are such simple lights with a hint of detail and a slightly industrial feel ties in beautifully with the metal star table lamp on the bespoke side table.

Our clients, a couple with four children, wanted to update their 1952 home with a mid-century feel, focusing on the main floor. The renovation emphasized enhancing finishes, optimizing storage, and maximizing seating in the dining and living areas. The entryway was designed to be inviting and practical, while the living room featured a statement sectional and a stunning terrazzo fireplace. The kitchen and dining area were transformed to be both functional and elegant, with playful touches like “Drunk Monkeys” wallpaper in the powder room.

Timeless materials such as soft green tiles, wood cabinetry, warm brass fixtures and black accents were combined with modern functionality to create a calm and spa -like retreat in this main bathroom renovation.
