This major renovation of a 1906 Victorian home includes a brand new 459 sqft family room addition, a wrap around cedar deck, a new layout on the main and second floor, and updates throughout all 4 floors which were completely gutted, re-insulated and drywalled. We also replaced all the old cast iron radiators with a high efficiency furnace and A/C, along with new electrical and plumbing.
The kitchen was moved and expanded, and a breakfast nook was added where the old kitchen was. The upstairs layout was also reconfigured, moving the bathrooms for better overall flow and use of space. This made room for a grand master bedroom suite with a new walk in closet as well.
Stand out features are the coffered ceiling in the great room that accents the open kitchen and eating area, leading into the dining room that boasts traditional wainscoting and a huge arched doorway that leads to the sitting room. The traditional touches in the layout and design keep with the old Victorian style in the 1906 existing home.

Inspiration for a large contemporary master medium tone wood floor and brown floor bedroom remodel in Vancouver with gray walls and no fireplace

This custom-built residence was our client’s childhood home, holding sentimental memories for her. Today as a detail-oriented Dentist and her husband, a retired Sea Captain, they wanted to put their own stamp on the house, making it suitable for their own unique lifestyle.
The main objective of the design was to increase the Puget Sound views in every room possible. This
entailed some areas receiving major overhaul, such as the master suite, lesser updates to the kitchen and office, and a surprise remodel to the expansive wine cellar. All these were done while preserving the home’s 1970s-era quirkiness.

The original home was 1752 square feet. With the major renovation, we added a total of 1669 to the house. A new traditional style kitchen, light wood floors, and high-end finishes have completely transformed this family home.

This post flood damage major renovation features an open concept main floor, complete with a modern, gourmet kitchen. The kitchen location was moved to optimize the functionality of the living and dining space.

This is a project we took over and finished after another contractor could not complete it. It involved ripping out almost all of the interior framing and rough-in work from the past contractor. Features Allura woodtone exterior siding with lots of upgraded interior finishes.

It was time for a major upgrade from an older kitchen in this home to reflect more closely the customers lifestyle. Creature comforts such as a built in coffee maker, new high output icemaker, beverage fridge, prep sink, built in fridge and dishwasher, etc. all figured into the new design. We started by installing new 24 x 48 porcelain floor tiles, followed by new, Benjamin Moore painted, Canadian Manufactured cabinetry. New quartz countertops and backsplash were then added to elevate the clean, minimalistic look. We also used wood accents to create some additional interest in the new space as well as a new display/ storage area beside the table. The end result is a new level of beautiful!
