Master Bathroom Renovation. Care was taken to help this bathroom connect into the overall rustic feel of the chalet as well as bring in the unique features that create harmony with the natural mountain location. The existing ensuite lacked functionality, size, and luxury. Manipulating and reassigning space allowed us to change the shape and enhance the amenities of this bathroom, while the entrance through the master closet provides separation and functionality. The new layout gives the spa steam shower a feature location, closes off the toilet for privacy, and makes the stunning double vanity perfect for couples.

This stand alone cabinet was designed to house stereo equipment. It features a 360 degree rotating top to allow access to the backs of stereo components and tall legs to stand over a subwoofer. THEME Doors are a visual frame to the entrance of a great room. This highquality, personalized element adds fun and interest to the room before it is even entered, and provides a great introduction for any theme. FOCUS The half-door offers unique access to the room, providing a true feeling of ownership for the child and peace of mind for parents. The top half of the door swings separate from the bottom, maintaining great ventilation and a clear view into the room. GROWTH The doors look beautiful and function normally for many years. SAFETY The doors easily replace unsightly baby gates and provide the same level of restraint, without the footholds or slats often used by children to manipulate or climb gates. Solid wood core birch construction keeps sound out (or sound in) when the door is closed, while a sliding gate lock safely secures the bottom half, and makes opening the top half simple.

This unique home on edge of downtown Calgary is a longer term project we had the privilege to design and implement. We were involved early in the extensive renovation process to provide input on design elements and help resolve logistical issues on the site. Among the many elements in the garden a large water feature was desired, in part to help mask traffic noise, as well as numerous areas to entertain, relax, and explore. Both large and dry-pack Rundlestone was utilized along with stamped concrete for much of the hardscaping. The slope was manipulated to construct the water feature which includes numerous falls, a stream, pond and bio-filter. Stucco walls were constructed on part of the property and river-stone walls were reconstructed to match the existing walls from the previous development. Extensive plantings throughout the grounds highlight and accent the hardscape and were designed for four seasons of interest.
