This young married couple enlisted our help to update their recently purchased condo into a brighter, open space that reflected their taste. They traveled to Copenhagen at the onset of their trip, and that trip largely influenced the design direction of their home, from the herringbone floors to the Copenhagen-based kitchen cabinetry. We blended their love of European interiors with their Asian heritage and created a soft, minimalist, cozy interior with an emphasis on clean lines and muted palettes.

The owners of this kitchen were a newly married couple excited to start their journey in their new home. Cabinets used were Mid continent cabinets. They did not have any cabinet space in their kitchen; we gave them lots of extra storage.

The brief was to transform the apartment into a home that was suited to our client’s (a young married couple) needs of entertainment and desire for an open plan. By reimagining the spatial hierarchy of a typical Singaporean home, the existing living room was converted nto a guest room, 2 bedrooms were also transformed into a single living space centered in the heart of the apartment. White frameless doors were used in the master and guest bedrooms, extending and brightening the hallway when left open. Accents of graphic and color were also used against a pared down material palette to form the backdrop for the owners’ collection of objects and artwork that was a reflection of the young couple’s vibrant personalities. Our clients were a young married couple who enjoyed bringing people together through social gatherings, and moments of quiet pause. The interior layout was redefined to create a spacious and open plan that suited the couple's lifestyle needs. Warm and bright material and color finishes were also curated to create a harmonious flow of spaces for a sense of easy living. Select pieces of furniture were also customised to optimise the use of space and enhance the overarching design direction.

A luminescent large deco inspired chandelier floats above the hand painted mural on the hardwood floor. This special spot is the center of the room where the married couple may take their first dance. The coffered ceiling adds visual interest to the oversized room. Neutral tones allows decor for any event to shine. Contemporary lucite oversized pendants light the perimeter of the room.
