This brick and stone residence on a large estate property is an American version of the English country house, and it pays homage to the work of Harrie T. Lindeberg, Edwin Lutyens and John Russell Pope, all practitioners of an elegant country style rooted in classicism. Features include bricks handmade in Maryland, a limestone entry and a library with coffered ceiling and stone floors. Nestled within the charming confines of Bluejack National, our design team utilized all the space this cozy cottage had to offer. Towering custom drapery creates the illusion of grandeur, guiding the eye toward the shiplap ceiling and exposed wooden beams. While the color palette embraces neutrals and earthy tones, playful pops of color and intriguing southwestern accents inject vibrancy and character into the space.

We built this room around our client's favorite leather club chair. The tufted velvet sofa adds luxury, the vintage style rugs adds texture and the mirror and marble coffee table modernizes the space while bouncing light into the room.

We were delighted to find out a previous client of ours was expecting another baby! We were tasked to design a nursery that was calming, masculine and playful. We incorporated a curated gallery wall, ceiling mural and LED baby name sign that cannot be forgotten! Within this small space, we had to include a crib, rocking chair, changing table and daybed. We were focused on making it functional for not only the baby but also for the parents. The fur rug is not only extremely comfortable, but also machine washable - that's a win-win! The layered jute rug underneath creates visual interest and texture. The striped ottoman, black daybed and leather drawer pulls bring the masculinity to the room. We had a custom LED baby name sign made for over the crib, which can be dimmed to any brightness and is safe for children (unlike neon). Baby Andres was born on May 11th. 2020.
