Modern Kitchen Reface from cherry cabinet to a darker, shaker modern door style set up. Homeowner selected Sparkling White Quartz for the perimeter and a gray mid tone quartz for her opposing peninsula piece. Using 4x16 White ceramic tiles gave this traditional kitchen a modern clean pop.

To give the master bedroom a more opulent feel, double doors were added. Existing sliding wardrobe closets were replaced with built ins. Arched entryway was crafted between master bedroom & bathroom to create a vestibule in lieu of a more basic entryway. Photography by Studio 101 West.

Master bedroom had plenty of space and a screened porch off the back. New downsized life in DC meant we had to basically give away the big Ethan Allen bed.

This calm and soothing master bedroom has a metallic grasscloth wallpaper that sets the tone. Mixing both gold and silver metallic details makes this a very current room. Bedding is velvet, linen and satin and throw on headboard faux chinchilla. Side table is white leather with brass nailheads. Walnut bed has storage underneath which is ideal for urban dwelling. Brass and black swing arm lighting has an art deco feeling.

The homeowners loved the location of their small Cape Cod home, but they didn't love its limited interior space. A 10' addition along the back of the home and a brand new 2nd story gave them just the space they needed. With a classy monotone exterior and a welcoming front porch, this remodel is a refined example of a transitional style home.
