We were called in to update the 80s master bathroom with a carpet, large built-in tub that took up a lot of space and was hardly used, and cabinetry that needed improved functionality. The goal of this project was to come up with a new layout to include, among other things, a makeup area for her and a freestanding tub, and design a sophisticated spa-retreat for the owners.

Brushed nickel fixtures including a handheld shower head and slide bar bring this master bath up to 21st century standards. By taking over the closet area we were able to give this couple the beautiful shower space they desired. Rounding out the room is a pair of oil rubbed bronze light fixtures and barn doors that warm up the otherwise white space with old world charm. Photo by Chrissy Racho.

This custom makeup and bath vanity become a beautiful focal point for the room. Larger bulkheads on each end frame the vanity, and a 2" mitered quartz countertop nestles between the book ends. Each and every drawer is custom divided for toiletries and storage, while one cabinet looks like drawers, but is actually one cabinet that opens for larger access. With sleek porcelain tile walls and a copper penny round floor, we have found a soothing balance between strong and sleek.
