I can’t recommend Inplace enough. The design, the process, the completion....it all went extremely well and as scheduled. There were NO surprises other than COVID. And that didn’t even impact the project!! If I had to do it all over again I would stick with Inplace and their expertise. They made the whole project seem very easy!!

We were very impressed with InPlace's deign of our kitchen-greatroom project. Alison listened carefully to our guidelines and preferences and then incorporated them into a design that fully embraced our tastes. Importantly, she directed us to remarkable contractors and vendors, a group we could never have found on our own. The finished project is fantastic.

Amazing!! Extremely knowledgeable about their product as well as appliances, lighting and plumbing. Husband and wife team Alison and Andy! Alison handles design Andy handles install. Both are perfectionist !! My wife and I️ could not be happier with our new kitchen. They worked with my contractor to make sure all aspects of the kitchen, appliances, lighting, and plumbing were done seamlessly! If it wasn’t for InPlace there is no way our kitchen would be what it is!!

Alison and her team were truly superior and we would highly recommend both their design and installation services. Our company, Rancho Santa Fe Craftsman, worked with Inplace on a kitchen remodel in Carmel Valley. As a general contractor, we require the highest level of precision in our cabinet materials and installation. I worked with Alison who did a fabulous job on customizing the standard cabinets to fit perfectly. Her husband created the cabinets himself. He has the ability to tailor them to any space and did a spectacular job on this particular project. Our drawings were extremely detailed and he was able to accommodate the design as well as the clients budget. They had the patience to work with meticulous designers such as myself to create a comfortable space for the homeowner, that fulfilled and exceeded all of my expectations.

As an Interior Designer for over 25 years I have worked with many Vendors. InPlace was especially spot on with their delivery timeline and quality of cabinetry in the last kitchen remodel that I hired them to do. They were always very responsive to any changes and questions that came up with respect to design, and considerate in directing all questions through me and not my client. I appreciated that very much and will be utilizing them again for my next project, a master bath remodel

We bought a house that needed every surface updated. Inplace studio designed everything, not just the kitchen and bathrooms, although that is where they really shine. They seemed expensive at first, but ended up being worth every single penny. They are the definition of value for $ spent. Our interior contractor had some real weaknesses with respect to organization and efficiency, and Inplace Studio became our back up project manager, making sure they were taking into consideration lead times, scheduling deliveries, and checking on the quality of things being done. They were readily available, respond quickly to emails/texts and very professional and experienced with respect to all things interior. This project would have been a disaster without them.

Working with Inplace Studio has been a great experience from beginning to end. Alison came out to our condo in La Jolla and had a 3D rendered design prepared for our kitchen very quickly. Alison, Andy and Nicole looked at every single detail to make sure the design would work with our wants and wishes and also the space we had to work with. The end result is gorgeous and we couldn’t be happier with our SieMatic kitchen. Not only did Inplace help with our kitchen but also our bathrooms, appliances, hardware, lighting and paint. Kelly made sure all items came in a timely manner and kept on top of deliveries and the contractor. Andy and Brad did an exceptional job with the installation and we are extremely pleased with the outcome and looking forward to having Inplace renovate our other home as well. We highly recommend Inplace Studio for your kitchen bathroom and interior design needs. We cannot wait for our second SieMatic kitchen next year!

After interviewing several design firms for our kitchen remodel, we choose Inplace Design to do the job. We are thrilled with the results. Because we have limited space and were unable to create more, we presented our designer with a challenge. Using the existing footprint to provide function as well as form was not an easy task and required patience as well as expertise. Inspace came up with great ideas and our designer was always available to answer questions and help us select materials and appliances. As happens in every remodel in an older home, unanticipated problems occur, but they were quickly addressed and resolved. It was a pleasure working with the Inplace team and we are so happy to be enjoying our wonderful kitchen.

InPlace Studio is the BEST cabinet/design firm I have had the pleasure to work with. They are detailed, very high end and deliver without any babysitiing. They even reordered a panel because it was 1/8" off, without me asking as I didn't even notice (and no one else would have noticed, but they have pride in their work). Their installation was timely and perfect. They are not the cheapest cabinet place around but are hands down the BEST cabinet place around. So if you want perfection, go with them and rest assured that everything will go smoothly and you will be 100% satisfied in the end.

I have been blessed. I had a fantastic crew from Inplace do my cabinets in the kitchen. The work was superior and the men were wonderful, and very proficient at their jobs. So often you do not get what you thought you were paying for and the problems that arise are "forever". I was so lucky. Everything went along without a hitch and the design of the cabinets, plus the expensive, elegant look of the wood is just perfect. Additionally, I was extremely fortunate with my designer, Ed Brown. He was terrific in making sure my house looks beautiful, and gave me just what I want. Alison and Inplace Studio saved my house! Alison has extremely high standards. She is incredibly detail oriented. She ensured that my house turned into my dream home. She is great with color, scale, and space. She started on my project in a limited capacity and her role grew with the project. I only wish I had her 100% involved from the onset. She is a great asset to the home owner and always has your best interest in mind. The only challenge is that she is a busy lady so her time is sometimes limited. I highly recommend Inplace Studio.
