The clients shared with us an inspiration picture of a white marble bathroom with clean lines and elegant feel. Their current master bathroom was far from elegant. With a somewhat limited budget, the goal was to create a walk-in shower, additional storage and elegant feel without having to change much of the footprint. To have the look of a marble bath without the high price tag we used on the floor and walls a durable porcelain tile with a realistic Carrara marble look makes this upscale bathroom a breeze to maintain. It also compliments the real Carrara marble countertop perfectly. A vanity with dual sinks was installed. On each side of the vanity is ample cabinet and drawer storage. This bathroom utilized all the storage space possible, while still having an open feel and flow. This master bath now has clean lines, delicate fixtures and the look of high end materials without the high end price-tag. The result is an elegant bathroom that they enjoy spending time and relaxing in.

Transforming this small bathroom into a wheelchair accessible retreat was no easy task. Incorporating unattractive grab bars and making them look seamless was the goal. A floating vanity / countertop allows for roll up accessibility and the live edge of the granite countertops make if feel luxurious. Double sinks for his and hers sides plus medicine cabinet storage helped for this minimal feel of neutrals and breathability. The barn door opens for wheelchair movement but can be closed for the perfect amount of privacy.

Located in the exclusive development of Bachelor Gulch, CO this ski-in, ski-out home’s design recalls the historic lodges of the West’s National Parks. The use of massive logs, hand hewn siding and locally sourced moss rock base dominate the exterior. The interior has a refined feel with a mix of black granite reclaimed barn board siding and antique wide plank floors. The home uses a Geothermal based radiant floor heating system.

The master bath in this mid-century remodel has been completely reimagined; a long double-vanity counter, large window, two new skylights, light finishes, custom white oak millwork, and contemporary lighting all contribute to its open feel. Soft modern furnishings and light fixtures complement the home's fusion of contemporary and mid-century architecture. The plush rug and tufted bench offer comfort in the fully tiled bathroom. Tile is from the Savoy line of Ann Sacks, undermount sinks are the Kohler Ladena, and faucets are the Talis-S by Hansgrohe. With a ceiling height of less than 6', and a floor that made you feel like you were riding a ship on a choppy ocean, no one saw potential in Old Salty's 2nd floor other than for attic storage. After sleuthing a bit, we realized it had a dropped ceiling that was hiding a much taller ceiling above it. Throw in some strategic steel beams for stiffening the floor, add a bathroom and a closet and voila - a master suite is born. With wrap around windows it has now been dubbed the "cloud ship" room.

Debra designed this bathroom to be warmer grays and brownish mauve marble to compliment your skin colors. The master shower features a beautiful slab of Onyx that you see upon entry to the room along with a custom stone freestanding bench-body sprays and high end plumbing fixtures. The freestanding Victoria + Albert tub has a stone bench nearby that stores dry towels and make up area for her. The custom cabinetry is figured maple stained a light gray color. The large format warm color porcelain tile has also a concrete look to it. The wood clear stained ceilings add another warm element. custom roll shades and glass surrounding shower. The room features a hidden toilet room with opaque glass walls and marble walls. This all opens to the master hallway and the master closet glass double doors. There are no towel bars in this space only robe hooks to dry towels--keeping it modern and clean of unecessary hardware as the dry towels are kept under the bench.
