Acting as a blank canvas, this compact Yaletown condo and its gutsy homeowners welcomed our kaleidoscopic creative vision and gave us free reign to funk up their otherwise drab pad. Colorless Ikea sofas and blank walls were traded for ultra luxe, Palm-Springs-inspired statement pieces. Wallpaper, painted pattern and foil treatments were used to give each of the tight spaces more 'larger-than-life' personality. In a city surrounded yearly with grey, rain-filled clouds and towers of glass, the overarching goal for the home was building upon a foundation of fun! In curating the home's collection of eccentric art and accessories, nothing was off limits. Each piece was handpicked from up-and-coming artists' online shops, local boutiques and galleries. The custom velvet, feather-filled sectional and its many pillows was used to make the space as much for lounging as it is for looking. Since completion, the globe-trotting duo have continued to add to their newly designed abode - both true converts to the notion that sometimes more is definitely more.

The original wall went all the way ceiling. We decided to remove the door and open it up, creating a half wall. Adding a beam above to the old door to attach the sliding bar door hardware. Above that beam we took the wall to the ceiling. The sleek contemporary style cabinets are from DeWil's Custom Cabinetry Horizon line, Capella door style in Bamboo with 112 Stain. We also added a matching tall linen cabinet and makeup vanity area across the room from the bath vanity. The vanity top and wall cap are Pental Quartz/ color: Sandcastle. We create a thicker wall in the shower to create a shower seat, along with adding decorative glass window to bring more light into shower.

This Bainbridge Island, WA Master Bathroom remodel made quite a transformation from the old existing bathroom. We were able to open up the wall between the main bathroom and shower/ toilet areas. A half wall was formed from the existing wall adding a decorative glass panel above it. Keeping part of the wall to create a beam appearance to attach a sliding glass barn door hardware to. In the shower wall, we added a window with the same decorative glass and made the wall thicker to create a shower seat and hide ducting and plumbing pipes. Avoiro colored porcelain tiles in the 12x24 size were installed on the floor and shower walls with a random glass and stone mosaic cut into strips to form a decorative listello liner detail.
