Once he saw his wife's closet design, he decided it was time to organize his own closet too! Previously over-crowded and hard to use, the new design leaves room to spare.
Designed by Dawn Buller
Fabricated and Installed by Closet Factory Washington DC

Situated in Denton, Texas these clients sought a personalized home from the ground up. It was important that their eclectic style be evidenced in every facet of the home to reflect their lively personalities. The project scope encompassed the dining, kitchen, breakfast nook, living, master bedroom, and master bathroom. Color, fixtures, furnishings, materials, artwork, and accessories were carefully selected to reflect a collective atmosphere and communicate the common theme of vibrancy. One significant challenge was the husband's fear of color. While he has an outgoing personality he did not want the home to feel loud and obnoxious. Putting him at ease was accomplished by presenting a comprehensive design plan with samples laid out so that he gained a clear understanding of how the home would flow together in harmony. This family feels unashamedly comfortable in their perfectly curated oasis. Photos by Sally Sloan of Showcase Photographers

Example of a huge transitional master ceramic tile, beige floor and double-sink bathroom design in Minneapolis with shaker cabinets, beige cabinets, beige walls, an undermount sink, quartz countertops, a hinged shower door, beige countertops and a built-in vanity

THIS TRANSITIONAL KITCHEN AND AND BATH REMODEL IN NORTH ASHEVILLE HAS CLEAN LINES AND A SLEEK LOOK.
HomeSource Builders completed the demolition and subcontracted the installation, under the expert guidance of Project Manager Corey Rogers. A striking feature, he relates, is the tiling installed by Mosaic Custom Tile.
“In my opinion,” he said, “the tile setters really made the kitchen stand out with the clean lines and sleek look the clients were trying to achieve.”
In addition to the backsplash tile, HomeSource installed the kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as the kitchen and bath quartz countertops.
It’s extraordinarily helpful when clients have well-defined goals. “These clients were ideal, and made my job much easier,” Corey said. “They were very detailed and knew exactly what they wanted.”
Since the clients were renovating all bathrooms in the house, a challenge to overcome was phasing the project so that the client had a working bathroom at all times. This hurdle was easily overcome, though, with skillfully choreographed scheduling.
Designer Christy Dunlap of HomeSource Design Center led the design charge. “Besides the pleasure of working with two delightful people,” she said, “it was great to design a beautiful navy kitchen with walnut accents.”
Subcontractors employed to complete the remodel were French Broad Plumbing, Wired Right Electrical, Mountain Air Mechanical Contractors, Inc., Mosaic Custom Tile, Haywood Appliance, New Image Home Improvement, and Victor Chapina Painting.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with a client who possessed a remarkable creative flair. Upon initial inspection of his home, which he had personally designed with great taste, we were left pondering why he had sought our expertise.

A gorgeous bathroom remodel! Sconce lights and a beveled mirror sit above a squared pedestal sink. The tiled wainscoting with the black and white border give the bathroom structure and visual interest.

This client is a young medical professional who had purchased his first home. Although it’s his first he is planning on it being his forever home. He wanted sleek, unique and high end. Each room has it’s own theme and we had a lot of fun helping make his dream come true without breaking the bank. To help him save we recommended Bellmont’s 1600 series, although they feature exceptional quality and a limited life time warranty, the series’ pricing is very modest. Splurging a little on the Rift Cut White Oak gave the kitchen the sleek look that a less expensive Red Oak just would not accomplish.
The bathrooms in Cherry with a toffee stain accomplished a rich look with a modestly priced material. Adding pops of color and class with the hardware, tile and countertops helped finish off the look.

Musso chose to develop one entire side into the 600 sq. ft. master suite by turning a bedroom into a luxurious master bathroom. While the previous owners had virtually stripped the bedroom of character, Musso was able to replace many elements including a light fixture he discovered in the home’s crawl space. When a photograph was later found of the room, it became apparent that it was the very fixture that had originally hung in the bedroom. Musso added more elegance by filling in a fireplace behind the bed and upholstering the wall instead in a Jim Thompson fabric that reminded him of silks he had admired in Verona and Venice. The window treatments were then fashioned from the same fabric.

Situated along Eagle River, looking across to the mouth of the Ipswich Harbor, this was clearly a little cape house that was married to the sea. The owners were inquiring about adding a simple shed dormer to provide additional exposure to the stunning water view, but they were also interested in what Mathew would design if this beach cottage were his.
Inspired by the waves that came ashore mere feet from the little house, Mathew took up a fat marker and sketched a sweeping, S-shape dormer on the waterside of the building. He then described how the dormer would be designed in the shape of an ocean wave. “This way,” he explained, “you will not only be able to see the ocean from your new master bedroom, you’ll also be able to experience that view from a space that actually reflects the spirit of the waves.”
Mathew and his team designed the master suite and study using a subtle combination of contemporary and traditional, beach-house elements. The result was a completely unique and one-of-a-kind space inside and out. Transparencies are built into the design via features like gently curved glass that reflects the water and the arched interior window separating the bedroom and bath. On the exterior, the curved dormer on the street side echoes these rounded shapes and lines to create continuity throughout. The sense of movement is accentuated by the continuous, V-groove boarded ceiling that runs from one ocean-shaped dormer through to the opposite side of the house.
The bedroom features a cozy sitting area with built in storage and a porthole window to look out onto the rowboats in the harbor. A bathroom and closet were combined into a single room in a modern design that doesn't sacrifice any style or space and provides highly efficient functionality. A striking barn door made of glass with industrial hardware divides the two zones of the master suite. The custom, built-in maple cabinetry of the closets provides a textural counterpoint to the unique glass shower that incorporates sea stones and an ocean wave motif accent tile.
With this spectacular design vision, the owners are now able to enjoy their stunning view from a bright and spacious interior that brings the natural elements of the beach into the home.

Here are 2 bathrooms in a house featuring the same tile. This is a spec house that the builder wanted to look a little more special. So instead of basic 3x6 subway wall tile he installed 4x12 tile vertically with a decorative feature strip. For easy maintenance he also installed wood looking porcelain tile on the floor.
