Lastly, the primary bathroom received a natural and clean refresh. The light grey subway tiles add the perfect amount of subtle color to this serene bathroom renovation. White honeycomb tiles add a spa-like feeling throughout the entire bathroom. No primary bathroom is complete without the perfect tub for a relaxing night at home. Again, the brass detail of the ink and bathtub hardware gives the most natural and straightforward bathroom warmth and richness.

Although our empty nester clients were still enjoying their custom home they had lived in for nearly 30 years, they had outgrown their once state-of-the-art 1980s master bathroom.
Our master bathroom facelift transformed a bathroom with carpet, wallpaper, glass block tiles, and a 30 year old Jacuzzi. It transformed into a clean lined, yet warm and inviting space that still worked with the home’s contemporary architecture. Our selections started with a natural stone for the vanity, and selecting Sapele wood cabinetry for both it’s textured lines and color qualities. Our next step was our hardware and fittings – knowing we wanted both function and visual appeal.
We relocated the double vanities at the center of the room, and installed the shower on the other side of the wall creating a circular passage for flow. The integrated sinks make a statement at the vanity – as well as the large apron of stone surrounding the face of the cabinetry. Wall mount faucets, and matte textured tile running vertically complete the look.
The free-standing vessel tub leaves a lasting impression against the windows. Corner cabinetry and shelves add both storage and visual appeal. Tucked in the corner an upholstered bench, yet more storage and built in jewelry organization.
Large format porcelain floor tiles were installed with a smooth skimstone application on the shower floor. Amenities and special touches in the bathroom include radiant heating, LED lighting under the cabinets and behind the vanity mirrors, a large format thermostat controlled towel bar, a linear drain in the shower, and a wall mounted energy efficient toilet.

Modern luxury meets warm farmhouse in this Southampton home! Scandinavian inspired furnishings and light fixtures create a clean and tailored look, while the natural materials found in accent walls, casegoods, the staircase, and home decor hone in on a homey feel. An open-concept interior that proves less can be more is how we’d explain this interior. By accentuating the “negative space,” we’ve allowed the carefully chosen furnishings and artwork to steal the show, while the crisp whites and abundance of natural light create a rejuvenated and refreshed interior.
This sprawling 5,000 square foot home includes a salon, ballet room, two media rooms, a conference room, multifunctional study, and, lastly, a guest house (which is a mini version of the main house).

This beautiful lakefront New Jersey home is replete with exquisite design. The sprawling living area flaunts super comfortable seating that can accommodate large family gatherings while the stonework fireplace wall inspired the color palette. The game room is all about practical and functionality, while the master suite displays all things luxe. The fabrics and upholstery are from high-end showrooms like Christian Liaigre, Ralph Pucci, Holly Hunt, and Dennis Miller. Lastly, the gorgeous art around the house has been hand-selected for specific rooms and to suit specific moods.

Our client contacted us regarding their outdated bathroom. They could not handle
taking a shower in their “TOMB” shower anymore. They wanted to update their
bathroom giving it a streamlined look with a traditional touch.
Our client’s desires were:
• Wanted a large open shower
• Wanted a larger master closet
• Wanted a better way of excising the wall cabinet by the vanity
• They wanted to remove their Jacuzzi tub
After coming up with a design that satisfied the customer’s needs, we started the demo
process and ran into the first obstacle. Because of the construction of the original
closed shower, there was no moisture barrier used which caused the existing framing
and exterior sheathing to decay. We were also startled by what look like an expanding
black cloud of carpenter ants, when we opened up the wall.
After making the necessary repairs, we continued with the remodel which consisted of a
dramatic large shower, the large subway design, granite shelving along with the bronze
accent tile that enhances the over all look of the show er. It also gave it a larger
appearance with the custom glass enclose. Another concern we had after relocating the
shower to its new location, was that it was under an existing skylight. We felt that there
maybe a moisture concern especially during the winter months. To over come this
obstacle we installed an exhaust fan near the ceiling in the w all above the shower. We
painted the exhaust fan grill the same color of the walls, so the fan would not stand out.
To make sure that there would not be any problem with condensation around the
skylight , we trimmed the skylight with azek material.
We installed custom cabinets that reflected the look the client was trying to achieve.
During this process we over came our last obstacle by installing bi-fold style doors on
the wall cabinet next to the vanity, which would swing completely out of the way so the
customer could have full access to the slide drawers. The handles were placed on the
doors to make it look like a regular two door wall cabinet. The bi-fold action also
allowanced it to clear a wall sconce.

We designed and built this shiplap or lap siding double shower in our master bath. It is painted Sherwin Williams Shoji White and the floor tile is a gray pebble tile from Floor & Decor in Atlanta.

Bedroom - mid-sized transitional master carpeted and beige floor bedroom idea in New York with white walls, a standard fireplace and a stone fireplace

While the use of simplicity, clean-lines, and fairly neutral colors bring a sense of calmness and comfort to a space, this transitional style bathroom brings interesting traditional features as well. The white painted shaker door cabinets with textured Caesarstone “Rugged Concrete” countertop and backsplash, mixed with the timeless dual cross handles’ lavatory faucet and exposed shower pipe, set the scene for traditional luxury. To maximize function of the vanity, a wall tower cabinet, two sets of drawers and grooming pull-out provides plenty of storage for fresh clean towels, a hair dryer and toiletries essential for guests. Additional functional elements include a curbless shower with tiled linear drain, tempered frameless glass shower with door that swings (opens in both directions), a shower seat, walls prepared for future grab bars and a multi-functional jet showerhead and hand shower. The no-slip soft linen-look porcelain tile shower flooring and walls maximize safety. The contrast of the linear woven look of sand and white for the floor tile adds visual interest while the hexagon shaped tile provides a waterfall look.

This beautiful master bath designed by Jay Young, CKD, for his family residence leaves a lasting impression on each person that enters. The clean, white consistency throughout the space makes the space feel coherent yet interesting with each little detail. Each surface is Carrara marble, from the floor, to the counters, and the tiling in the shower. Plumbing and appliances are all from Ferguson Showroom's custom line "Mirabelle." The lucite pulls on cabinetry was found at Restoration Hardware, and contributes to the clean, refreshing feel in this master bathroom.
