Eli and his Pure Builders' team did a wonderful job on our completely renovated home. We had an inspiration, and Eli and Claire (his designer) were indispensable in helping us with the design and material selections. We had no idea of the multitude of decisions we had to make, and Pure Builders guided us all the way. The end product was exactly like our inspiration pictures and in some areas even better. We love our home and hardly ever want to leave. We enjoy it that much. The scope of our renovation included new roofing material, all new windows, all new exterior doors including 2 new sliders and a new door that did not exist before, new engineered hardwood flooring, a new balcony extending out from our second-floor primary bedroom, an additional patio cover, opening up one wall, an expanded kitchen and primary bath, brand new HVAC and heating system including ducting, and new paint inside and outside. The scope of the work required us to empty the house and move out. Eli assisted us with references for movers and places to stay. Once we signed on, Eli, Claire, and the project manager took charge right away. To start, the team handled all of our permitting and homeowner association and neighbor approvals and signatures. That was a big relief to us. Roofing work and demolition took place while waiting for permits. Once permits were in place the project proceeded in full force. We have to say, Eli's sub-contractors are top-notch. All were very professional, picking and cleaning at the end of each day. I can't say how happy we are with the quality of the construction. Everyone from framers, electricians, drywall people, floor people, tilers, cabinetry, painters, and stone fabricator were knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant to talk to, and excellent craftsmen. Our house feels much more solid and so much better insulated. Eli and Claire also have excellent relationships with Universal Appliances and Ferguson Home. We purchased all our new appliances and hardware through those two outlets, and the experience was fun, the process and installation seamless. The project took nine months which was about two months longer than we estimated. We have been told by other homeowners that it was actually pretty quick given the scope of work. In all honesty, some decisions took us longer to make which contributed to the delay. The overall project also came in over budget, but every bit was explainable. One big reason for the overrun was the top-quality materials we picked for our home. Given our investment, we didn't want to settle on materials, appliances, etc. There were also unforeseen change orders that were necessary for safety, inspections or to achieve a design goal. Eli stands by his word on quality. His team has been to our house several times after construction for minor adjustments and touch up work. Pure Builders did an excellent job on our remodel. We really appreciated the close attention to detail and upfront design and planning. The entire Pure Builders team was very professional and completed the job on schedule despite some changes that inevitably occur once you start breaking into the walls. My wife and I are officially empty nesters. Our youngest son left for college and It was the time for us to focus on ourselves and our needs after rising 3 beautiful kids. When we decided to remodel our late 50's 6bed/2ba into an updated 5bed/3ba, we knew we needed to partner with a group who could handle the scale & entire process from design through finishes. We were extremely satisfied with our whole house remodel, Eli, and his team. There was no attempt to increase the scale of the project beyond our limits or request (which we heard a lot of in consultations with other vendors). After an exhaustive design process with Pure's in-house designers we felt confident going into demolition & construction with a plan that aligned with our budget. The design (process, visuals, end product) was excellent and the renderings match the end product. We were especially happy with the guidance Pure provided when choosing materials and coordinating with local vendors. As for construction, Pure ran a clean site and were very professional. We received daily photo, updates, and video showing the progress on our house. Communication was always fast & responsive. The construction finished on-budget and slightly ahead of schedule! The quality of work provided and the dedication to ensuring that everything was done not just correctly but to our satisfaction was exceptional. We have been in our house for a few months now and couldn’t be happier. We had never taken on a risky, personal project this large before. Now, on the other side of it, I couldn't imagine doing work on our house with anyone else.

I think the mark of a great contractor and full design+build company is in the relationships you build, communication, and ability to come together collaborate and work together towards the same desired end goal. With no connections in LA I was looking for the right general contractor to take my vision for a full interior remodel and make it a reality within a budget, and after meeting Eli I knew Pure Builders was my company. We moved into a new house in Calabasas a few months ago and we wanted to make a couple of changes to the floor plan, that did not suit our family needs. We wished for a space that would be more open and updated. After meeting with Eli at our house he surprised us with ideas that we didn’t even think were possible, and even more amazingly, he made it happen. Our space now is so open and beautiful. I am so happy that I found Pure Builders. I was looking for a reliable company to build my home and after a long search they were the perfect fit. They were able to design a space that was both functional and stylish. Working with Eli was easy because he was able to understand what I wanted and even gave useful suggestions for the things I overlooked. Knowing the architect and designer were working for him was very helpful and the process was very smooth. I was very particular about maximizing the space in some of the rooms as we have a child with disabilities. Eli was very tuned with our family needs and build everything to our satisfaction.
