The vision was clear: modernize the space while retaining certain elements, blending the old with the new, creating a space that felt updated, timeless, and functional. The existing shower was completely reimagined to a custom size. Michelle chose Tru Marmi Venatino large format tiles for her shower walls and main floor, then finished the style with a matching 4” hexagon tile for her shower floor for an elegant matching look. She opted to boost the storage of her shower by adding two oversized recessed niches along with a recessed shaving niche and then accented these areas with the Gable Victoria Marble Mosaic Tile. A large freestanding bathtub became the centerpiece and was accented with a Delta floor mount tub filler, including the hand shower for added convenience. The vanity area was upgraded with two new Mencino satin nickel and clear glass lights, providing ample illumination. Additionally, new Fresca Luminosa Lighted medicine cabinets were installed as her main mirrors, offering modern storage solutions with flattering integrated side lighting. The bathroom, closet, and water closet flooring received a significant upgrade with Tru Marmi Venatino 12x24 matte tiles, laid in a ⅓ offset pattern and grouted with 335 Winter Gray for a cohesive look. This master bathroom was designed by Alex from our Windham showroom. This master bathroom remodel features a free standing bath, laminar tub spout and ceiling tub filler. This bathroom also includes a large alcove two person symmetrical tile shower with a hinged glass door. Other features in this remodel are a porcelain tile floor, a dark wood vanity with a recessed panel door style with a marble counter top and an under mount white sink.

We like to use a 4" ledge bench as a functional foot prop for shaving. The double niche allows for soap and razors on top with shampoo bottles on the lower level.

This cramped 1970s master bathroom was in need of an organized overhaul with modern selections. A custom barn door with mirror on both sides and unique overlay on one side creates a beautiful invitation to this retreat. The particularly designed bathroom floor provides an eye catching iridescent tile strip that is repeated in the shower as the vertical band. Opposite of the new shower fixtures is a tall bump-in with shower shelves where the lowest shelf doubles as a toe ledge for shaving. The new sink vanity cabinets offer optimal organizational areas including a drawer that incorporates a USB plug-in for a charging station and an outlet for all the hair styling tools. Outside this bathroom area is a special dressing area with custom cabinets to incorporate storage and organization for laundry hampers, clothes, jewelry and purses. The detailed plans for this bathroom can be purchased here: https://www.changeyourbathroom.com/shop/felicitous-flora-bathroom-plans/ The original layout of this bathroom underutilized the spacious floor plan and had an entryway out into the living room as well as a poorly placed entry between the toilet and the shower into the master suite. The new floor plan offered more privacy for the water closet and cozier area for the round tub. A more spacious shower was created by shrinking the floor plan - by bringing the wall of the former living room entry into the bathroom it created a deeper shower space and the additional depth behind the wall offered deep towel storage. A living plant wall thrives and enjoys the humidity each time the shower is used. An oak wood wall gives a natural ambiance for a relaxing, nature inspired bathroom experience.
