Stunning Symmetry. The floors in this dramatic residence are crafted from American black walnut. In the entry/gallery of the home, an oval-shaped stone medallion is banded by a custom bent-maple accent with a single seam. Inlaid into a field of walnut planks, the medallion is set off by decorative detailing created from a variety of woods including beech, wenge, cherry, and walnut. In the elevator lobby, the flooring features an almost identical stone medallion, with slightly different banding and border accents. The intricacies of these bands – as well as border features and radius-fan corners – confirm that beauty is, indeed, in the details.

The original design of this kitchen featured dark stained cabinets, brick wall accents, fluorescent lighting and beadboard wainscoting. Now, it's beautifully transformed into a bright, open space with white perimeter cabinets, cream-colored backsplash tiles and a combination of recessed lighting, under-cabinet lighting and hanging pendant lights. The addition of new stainless steel appliances further brightens the room while adding a timeless design to the space. This spacious kitchen features custom Maple cabinets with Pecan finish from Medallion cabinetry. The door style is MIsson with the upper cabinets featuring Gable sometimes called Trinity. The appliances are from Kitchen Aid and Miele. The granite countertops are Taj Mahal with a half bullnose edge profile. The island seats 6 and has ample storage beneath. The cut for glass cabinetry creates a beautiful focal point along with the Meile Decor Hood Ventilation system. The faucets are from Moen and the hardware from Top Knobs.
