This kitchen is a part of a larger open floor plan. A large island is perfect for hosting friends and family, and the L-shape offers plenty of storage for the home owner. Cabinets are by Scavolini, the base units are a textured melamine for an organic look and feel with uppers and a complimenting matte lacquer. Wolf range and SubZero paneled refrigerator are perfect for the home chef. The counter tops are an engineered quartz in a complimenting warm tone with cool tile back splash.

These plain, simple , contemporary cabinets were made from a new material that comes from Europe. It's call a textured melamine and has a texture similar to corduroy. This particular color is called Palissendro and it comes in sheets that are approximately 81"X110". Some of the counters employ an effect called "Waterfall." Where the counter goes down to the floor on the ends. The long stainless handles lend a more contemporary, "high end" look to cabinets that are otherwise fairly inexpensive. There is also an application of free standing shelves in the kitchen that have many uses. Note how the grain flows vertically down a set of drawers. Could be horizontal just as well.

The Symons Kitchen Design is a definite favourite! It features one of our newest door-styles, the Tromso. The main kitchen is has doors in MDF with a standard white matte finish and the island features our new Coventry Grey, also on MDF. There are a number of decorative mouldings used in this project, from the crown moulding to the posts made to match the Tromso door-style. The cabinet interiors are maple print melamine and the drawer boxes are made to of the same melamine. All of it is just so beautiful!

In this contemporary kitchen we combined cabinets in two finishes: glossy light grey acrylic and textured melamine with vertical wood grain.
The open concept kitchen has a long island with a raised area that hides the 5' Galley sink. The casual island seating is conveniently located close to the refrigerator and the drawer style microwave hidden in the island. The two ovens are tucked under the counter on the two sides of the cook top, making this kitchen layout very practical for kosher cooking. For under cabinetry lights and accents we used LED strip lights and LED puck lights.

This is the kitchen for the upper unit. In order to keep it interesting while not making the already narrow space feel smaller, we utilized white melamine upper cabinets and marble backsplash, with rift sawn white oak lowers. The design worked great and added warmth and interest to the kitchens.

While white cabinetry is a great classic choice - this organization show-stopper has us swooning! A white oak wall adds rustic elegance, setting off the black walnut floors and American black walnut melamine cabinets & shelving perfectly.

This warm contemporary kitchen is set in a home with an open layout. Kitchen, den and dining room are all a part of the grand space (not all is visible in the photograph). The Scavolini cabinets are a combination of khaki textured melamine and porcelain glossy lacquer. The aluminum channel replaces the handles to maintain a sleek look on the slab doors. Stainless steel appliances are easy to clean, and perfect for this family that likes to cook. The stainless steel toe kick brings it all together. The island has Scavolini khaki melamine back panels for a beautiful presentation. The white natural quartzite has enough hang over to sit three stools comfortably. The waterfall edge over the cabinets is a current trend, and adds a lovely touch of stone. Dark hard wood floors warm up the space and bring the whole 1st floor together.
