Photographed by the uber-talented Mark Menjivar. A darling room for a darling girl. We updated her bedroom suite with new paint, new wallpaper, new bedding and new furniture. Inspired by a teenager's desire to grow up, we mixed texture and color to form a sophisticated setting without sacrificing the fun.

There are so many details in this kitchen it's hard to decide where to look. Each part of it is so carefully thought out, with no detail left to spare. Our clients eclectic taste and her deep trust in us, made this remodel not only top notch, but easy and fun! We used solid walnut cabinets and open shelves to bring warmth to the space and mixing patterns, but being consistent in color and tone allowed us to incorporate a lot of style into one space. Truth: we like camping more than living our “real lives,” so we decided to take a stab at achieving a campsite feel in the bedroom. Full moon, bonfire, sticks, camp blankets, triangular mirrors that subtly suggest mountain peaks… you get the idea. The sticks are from bigger hikes we’ve done in Olympic National Park and Glacier National Park. Image: James Stewart
