This classical sized LA bathroom is 9' by 4' with a shower stall of 3' by 3'. The color scheme was to go with whites and gray but with a touch of earth tones coming from the accent Limestone tiles. to gain additional space we used a 18" deep vanity and a great skirted toileted with 11" rough-in drain. the floors are white wood look a like ceramic tiles and gray matching wood look a like tile baseboards. The center piece of the whole bathroom is the shower, using vertical chevron style tile gives the feeling of space and at the same time the chevron shape adds depth. for the accent of the shower unit we used mosaic 3D shapes of limestone tile and to finish it off a stainless steel hidden drain and a Hansgrohe shower system. A contemporary white shaker kitchen with a contrasting Dark colored quartz counter top and an unique Slate back-splash. The stainless steel appliances and a stainless steel farmhouse sink and an industrial goose neck faucet tie all the colors together into a great dramatic white kitchen. Instead of a Range unit we have installed a cook-top and a separate built-in oven underneath, this allows the continuation of the counter-top and cabinets line. Clear glass pendant lights above the island and the Scandinavian wood/iron bar stools give the additional clean and contemporary touch to the kitchen. The materials used here is Marble... yes Marble! we have gray sandblasted marble on the floor in Versailles pattern to give the bathroom floor depth and sensation of space, we used pure high grade Thasos marble cut to 18x6 too be placed in a staggered pattern (brick pattern) Just look at that pure white marble look. To finish the edges installation of a pencil liner from same material and to add some trim a gray marble linear trim line was installed with same color pencil liner to border it. The classical furniture vanity comes in dark gray to compliment the flooring and the top is the classical Carrara marble material. Notice the bi-fold doors on the right, looks like a linen cabinet but it’s not. Due to lack of space in the house (this is a small craftsman home in the hills of Glendale) we were requested to bring the laundry from the basement to the house and so we did. Those bi-fold doors you are looking at are hiding the stackable washer and dryer. To finish everything off all the fixtures are in a great Kohler vibrant polished nickel finish.

The design dilemma was how to incorporate the existing flooring and wallpaper the client wanted to preserve. The kitchen is a combo of both traditional and transitional element thus becoming a neat eclectic kitchen. The wood finish cabinets are natural Alder wood with a clear finish while the main portion of the kitchen is a fantastic olive-green finish. for a cleaner look the countertop quartz has been used for the backsplash as well. This way no busy grout lines are present to make the kitchen feel heavier and busy.

The Master bath everyone want. The space we had to work with was perfect in size to accommodate all the modern needs of today’s client. A custom made double vanity with a double center drawers unit which rise higher than the sink counter height gives a great work space for the busy couple. A custom mirror cut to size incorporates an opening for the window and sconce lights. The counter top and pony wall top is made from Quartz slab that is also present in the shower and tub wall niche as the bottom shelve. The Shower and tub wall boast a magnificent 3d polished slate tile, giving a Zen feeling as if you are in a grand spa. Each shampoo niche has a bottom shelve made out of quarts to allow more storage space. The Master shower has all the needed fixtures from the rain shower head, regular shower head and the hand held unit. The glass enclosure has a privacy strip done by sand blasting a portion of the glass walls. And don't forget the grand Jacuzzi tub having 6 regular jets, 4 back jets and 2 neck jets so you can really unwind after a hard day of work. To complete the ensemble all the walls around a tiled with 24 by 6 gray rugged cement look tiles placed in a staggered layout.

A small enclosed kitchen is very common in many homes such as the home that we remodeled here. Opening a wall to allow natural light to penetrate the space is a must. When budget is important the solution can be as you see in this project - the wall was opened and removed but a structural post remained and it was incorporated in the design. The blue modern flat paneled cabinets was a perfect choice to contras the very familiar gray scale color scheme but it’s still compliments it since blue is in the correct cold color spectrum. Notice the great black windows and the fantastic awning window facing the pool. The awning window is great to be able to serve the exterior sitting area near the pool. Opening the wall also allowed us to compliment the kitchen with a nice bar/island sitting area without having an actual island in the space. The best part of this kitchen is the large built-in pantry wall with a tall wine fridge and a lovely coffee area that we built in the sitting area made the kitchen expend into the breakfast nook and doubled the area that is now considered to be the kitchen.

In the quite streets of southern Studio city a new, cozy and sub bathed bungalow was designed and built by us. The white stucco with the blue entrance doors (blue will be a color that resonated throughout the project) work well with the modern sconce lights. Inside you will find larger than normal kitchen for an ADU due to the smart L-shape design with extra compact appliances. The roof is vaulted hip roof (4 different slopes rising to the center) with a nice decorative white beam cutting through the space. The bathroom boasts a large shower and a compact vanity unit. Everything that a guest or a renter will need in a simple yet well designed and decorated garage conversion.

A rejuvenation project of the entire first floor of approx. 1700sq. The kitchen was completely redone and redesigned with relocation of all major appliances, construction of a new functioning island and creating a more open and airy feeling in the space. A "window" was opened from the kitchen to the living space to create a connection and practical work area between the kitchen and the new home bar lounge that was constructed in the living space. New dramatic color scheme was used to create a "grandness" felling when you walk in through the front door and accent wall to be designated as the TV wall. The stairs were completely redesigned from wood banisters and carpeted steps to a minimalistic iron design combining the mid-century idea with a bit of a modern Scandinavian look. The old family room was repurposed to be the new official dinning area with a grand buffet cabinet line, dramatic light fixture and a new minimalistic look for the fireplace with 3d white tiles.

A small galley kitchen in a standard LA home is a common sight in Los Angeles. The wall between the laundry room and the kitchen was removed to create one big open space. The placement of all large appliances ( Fridge, Washer\Dryer and Double oven) on a single full height built-in cabinets wall opened up all the rest of the space to be more airy and practical. The custom made cabinets are in a traditional manner with white finish and some glass doors to allow a good view of the good chinaware. The floors are done with wood looking tile and color matched to the dark oak floors of the rest of the house to create a continuality of colors. The backsplash is comprised of two different glass tiles, the larger pieces as the main tile and a small brick glass as the deco line. The counter top is finished with a beveled edge for a touch of modern look.

Updating a recently built town home in culver city for a wonderful family was a very enjoyable project for us. a classic shaker kitchen with double row of upper cabinets due to the extra high ceiling. butcher block island with a sink as a work area. The centerpiece of it all is the amazing handmade Moroccan zellige tiles that were used as the backsplash. going all the way to the ceiling around the window area and finished off in the corners with a black matt Schluter corner system.

Inspiration for a mid-sized rustic vinyl floor kitchen/dining room combo remodel in Austin with white walls and no fireplace

ADU (Accessory dwelling unit) became a major part of the family of project we have been building in the past 3 years since it became legal in Los Angeles. This is a typical conversion of a small style of a garage. (324sq only) into a fantastic guest unit / rental. A large kitchen and a roomy bathroom are a must to attract potential rentals. in this design you can see a relatively large L shape kitchen is possible due to the use a more compact appliances (24" fridge and 24" range) to give the space even more function a 24" undercounter washer/dryer was installed. Since the space itself is not large framing vaulted ceilings was a must, the high head room gives the sensation of space even in the smallest spaces. Notice the exposed beam finished in varnish and clear coat for the decorative craftsman touch. The bathroom flooring tile is continuing in the shower are as well so not to divide the space into two areas, the toilet is a wall mounted unit with a hidden flush tank thus freeing up much needed space.
