The kitchen was completely gutted, separating wall between the dining area and the kitchen was removed for a more open space concept. additional windows were opened in the exterior wall to allow great natural light to penetrate in and to add some great views of the backyard pool area. a small bar sitting area was incorporated into the cabinets area with a stone countertop waterfall finish. All the large ticket items (fridge, oven, and pantries) were relocated to a single wall at the far end of the kitchen. (A useless old furnace closet was demolished to allow a straight wall to be built). The gold fixtures are a great contrast to the clean white cabinets and countertop stone.

A rejuvenation project of the entire first floor of approx. 1700sq. A small galley kitchen in a standard LA home is a common sight in Los Angeles. The wall between the laundry room and the kitchen was removed to create one big open space. The placement of all large appliances ( Fridge, Washer\Dryer and Double oven) on a single full height built-in cabinets wall opened up all the rest of the space to be more airy and practical. The custom made cabinets are in a traditional manner with white finish and some glass doors to allow a good view of the good chinaware. The floors are done with wood looking tile and color matched to the dark oak floors of the rest of the house to create a continuality of colors. The backsplash is comprised of two different glass tiles, the larger pieces as the main tile and a small brick glass as the deco line. The counter top is finished with a beveled edge for a touch of modern look.

Contemporary interpolation to a classical bathroom. The materials used here is Marble... yes Marble! we have gray sandblasted marble on the floor in Versailles pattern to give the bathroom floor depth and sensation of space, we used pure high grade Thasos marble cut to 18x6 too be placed in a staggered pattern (brick pattern) Just look at that pure white marble look. To finish the edges installation of a pencil liner from same material and to add some trim a gray marble linear trim line was installed with same color pencil liner to border it. The classical furniture vanity comes in dark gray to compliment the flooring and the top is the classical Carrara marble material. Notice the bi-fold doors on the right, looks like a linen cabinet but it’s not. Due to lack of space in the house (this is a small craftsman home in the hills of Glendale) we were requested to bring the laundry from the basement to the house and so we did. Those bi-fold doors you are looking at are hiding the stackable washer and dryer. To finish everything off all the fixtures are in a great Kohler vibrant polished nickel finish.

This bathroom is part of a new Master suite construction for a traditional house in the city of Burbank. The space of this lovely bath is only 7.5' by 7.5' Going for the minimalistic look and a linear pattern for the concept. The floor tiles are 8"x8" concrete tiles with repetitive pattern imbedded in the, this pattern allows you to play with the placement of the tile and thus creating your own "Labyrinth" pattern. The two main bathroom walls are covered with 2"x8" white subway tile layout in a Traditional herringbone pattern. The toilet is wall mounted and has a hidden tank, the hidden tank required a small frame work that created a nice shelve to place decorative items above the toilet. You can see a nice dark strip of quartz material running on top of the shelve and the pony wall then it continues to run down all the way to the floor, this is the same quartz material as the counter top that is sitting on top of the vanity thus connecting the two elements together. For the final touch for this style we have used brushed brass plumbing fixtures and accessories.

This is the hallway bathroom, this bathroom is of standard size, 6'x9'. The design is of transitional style. The wall tiles are porcelain subway tiles sized 10"x3" with a distressed texture. The tub been a 5' long unit gave us an opportunity to build a little bench on the side, notice the extra tall shampoo niche that is aligned and centered between the casement windows. We used Carrara slab that matches the vanity to on the tub bench and in the shampoo niche to tie all the features together. The flooring is ceramic wood look tiles that matches the house flooring in color. To keep the bathroom feeling large the shower door used here is frameless sliding barn door.

Master suite addition to an existing 20's Spanish home in the heart of Sherman Oaks, approx. 300+ sq. added to this 1300sq. home to provide the needed master bedroom suite. the large 14' by 14' bedroom has a 1 lite French door to the back yard and a large window allowing much needed natural light, the new hardwood floors were matched to the existing wood flooring of the house, a Spanish style arch was done at the entrance to the master bedroom to conform with the rest of the architectural style of the home. The master bathroom on the other hand was designed with a Scandinavian style mixed with Modern wall mounted toilet to preserve space and to allow a clean look, an amazing gloss finish freestanding vanity unit boasting wall mounted faucets and a whole wall tiled with 2x10 subway tile in a herringbone pattern. For the floor tile we used 8x8 hand painted cement tile laid in a pattern pre determined prior to installation. The wall mounted toilet has a huge open niche above it with a marble shelf to be used for decoration. The huge shower boasts 2x10 herringbone pattern subway tile, a side to side niche with a marble shelf, the same marble material was also used for the shower step to give a clean look and act as a trim between the 8x8 cement tiles and the bark hex tile in the shower pan. Notice the hidden drain in the center with tile inserts and the great modern plumbing fixtures in an old work antique bronze finish. A walk-in closet was constructed as well to allow the much needed storage space.

A traditional home in the middle of Burbank city was just as you would expect, compartmentalized areas upon compartmentalized rooms. The house's second bathroom was only half a bath with an access door at the dining area. We extended the bathroom by an additional 36" into the family room and relocated the entry door to be in the minor hallway leading to the family room as well. A classical transitional bathroom with white crayon style tile on the walls, including the entire wall of the toilet and the vanity. The alcove tub has a barn door style glass shower enclosure. and the color scheme is a classical white/gold/blue mix.

The classical Carrera marble look in a modern layout. Hex mosaic tiles for the floor and shower pan. A hidden drain unit with tiles imbedded in it. Subway layout of 3x6 Carrera tiles with 5/8" pencil liner for the trim lines and corners. A vertical chevron style Carrera mosaic 12x12 pieces right in the center of the plumbing fixtures to act as the center piece of this bathroom. Two matching sizes his\hers shampoo niches perfectly positioned in symmetrically opposite the plumbing wall.
