The private entry patio is often used for parties, as well as outdoor dining by the family. Mexican stone pavers make a durable and attractive surface that is easily kept clean. The large umbrella shades a stone outdoor table which comfortably seats six. The landscaping is in raised beds, allowing the whole area to be kept tidy.

This yard was an unusable muddy lawn flanked by tall Arborvitae. We removed the hedge and replaced it will a beautiful Ipe screen that serves as the backdrop to a concrete water feature that spills into a channel that runs the length of the patio. Corten steel planters contain Equisetum plantings, as well as Bamboo that screens a trampoline for the childrens fun. Pavers and black mexican pebbles make up the new hardscape for the patio.

The old Mexico feel of the front patio is enhanced by this wall fountain mounted on a painted tile wall. The large stone table with heavy wooden base is an import from Mexico, as are nearly all other design items in the home.
