This one-of-a-kind wall portrait measures 20" x 16". The handsome and sporting gent with handlebar mustache poses proudly next to his penny farthing bicycle. Perhaps he was posing before the big race, or after with defeat or triumph? We will never know for the image dates about 1890. What we do know is that he is eternally and heroically memorialized in this one of a kind recreated gold-tinted metal portrait. Originally, tintype portraits were made from the 1850's - 1900's, only a few inches tall and were printed with the wet plate collodion process, which these are not. I custom print my tintypes and age them with vintage tools, elbow grease and love so that they are large enough to hang and create a conversation piece in your home or office. All images come from my personal archive. Each piece has character, peculiarities and a weathered look from aging techniques and are meant to feel like they were made in 1800's. No two are alike. It's very difficult to photograph metal, so please don't hesitate to ask any questions regarding these. Scuff's, scrapes, a smidgen of rust are all part of the details. Inspiration for a large transitional black floor multiuse home gym remodel in Other

Our Carmel design-build studio was tasked with organizing our client’s basement and main floor to improve functionality and create spaces for entertaining. In the basement, the goal was to include a simple dry bar, theater area, mingling or lounge area, playroom, and gym space with the vibe of a swanky lounge with a moody color scheme. In the large theater area, a U-shaped sectional with a sofa table and bar stools with a deep blue, gold, white, and wood theme create a sophisticated appeal. The addition of a perpendicular wall for the new bar created a nook for a long banquette. With a couple of elegant cocktail tables and chairs, it demarcates the lounge area. Sliding metal doors, chunky picture ledges, architectural accent walls, and artsy wall sconces add a pop of fun. On the main floor, a unique feature fireplace creates architectural interest. The traditional painted surround was removed, and dark large format tile was added to the entire chase, as well as rustic iron brackets and wood mantel. The moldings behind the TV console create a dramatic dimensional feature, and a built-in bench along the back window adds extra seating and offers storage space to tuck away the toys. In the office, a beautiful feature wall was installed to balance the built-ins on the other side. Nina’s bathroom had served its purpose for years, but the dated tub, framed shower, and long mirror no longer reflected her style. She chose to reimagine the space into something brighter, more open, and designed for everyday comfort. The large corner tub and framed shower were removed, making way for a spacious curbless design. Arizona Tile Pebble Mosaics in Mica were installed on the floor, paired with a Driftwood grout that brings warmth and texture. Bianco Lasa polished wall tile was placed in a horizontal pattern for balance. An accent band and recessed niches in Siberian Pearl Brushed Amalfi Marble Mosaic introduced dimension, while Delta Trinsic fixtures in matte black created a striking finish. Waypoint Painted Linen 410F cabinets were installed along the 105-inch vanity wall, fitted with Elements Naples matte black handles for a crisp, modern touch. Ultra Shelf Walnut floating shelves in Jacobean were added between sinks for storage and display. Della Terra Quartz in Cortona Gold was selected for the countertops, with a subtle bullnose edge. MSI Surfaces white rectangular undermount sinks were installed, each paired with Delta Trinsic widespread matte black faucets. Above the vanity, Ren Wil Danske beveled mirrors were mounted, complemented by Longshore Tides Angelos 2-light vanity fixtures in plated smoke. The new lighting added warmth while highlighting the polished quartz and cabinet finishes. The walls were painted Dunn Edwards Shady DEC774, with white trim and ceiling paint to match existing finishes, tying the room together in a fresh, cohesive palette. The remodel turned Nina’s bathroom into a calming retreat with timeless materials and thoughtful updates. The new shower, vanity, and consistent finishes elevated the space, providing a fresh balance of beauty and everyday function.

The flush mounted rigid plaster plate, which is finished into the ceiling, maintains a flat finish and defines the Truly Trimless Pure edge aperture. Combined with the Aurora dome and the tilt gear hidden behind the lamp creates a clean internal look. Features hot-aiming and offers a 0-45 degree vertical adjustment and 362 degree horizontal rotation without beam clipping. The AH2 IC, and air-tight, housing is suitable for remodel and new construction installations. The snoot carries the lamp and a soft focus lens, included, with room for two additional accessories, sold separately. 120V magnetic transformer included. Also available in 230V and 277V, with a round aperature, and with a ceramic metal halide lamping option. One 50 watt, 12 volt, IR MR16 lamp, not included. UL, cUL and CE listed for damp locations.

We converted a very old cracked concrete pool to a new looking vinyl liner pool. To do this, we installed new vinyl liner skimmer and return and core drilled a hole for a vinyl liner Aqualamp. We removed the old quarry tile coping and installed a natural flagstone square cut nosing. We plated the top of the wall with galvanized steel and installed a top mount track to support the liner. The old walls of the pool were padded with foam and a full patterned liner with no border installed. We welded the vinyl liner onsite over the concrete steps.
