Glass railings are sleek and elegant and bring an upscale look to any design while also providing more light and openness to the area. They can be a beautiful complement to any style staircase. This stunning staircase is a Mountain Contemporary style, with an Industrial touch, in that the bolt heads and rivets are exposed in some places. 1/2" Low Iron glass panels were mounted between the posts with custom designed and custom machined square glass clamps. The freestanding open rise stairs are on 1/2" x 12" plate steel stringers. The block treads were made from actual European White Oak lumber that was imported from Europe and then wire brushed to accentuate the beautiful grain. All the steel, including the handrail, received a patina and bee's wax finish. This project was completed in White Pine, Park City, Utah, in a spectacular home constructed by Midway Construction, one of the best home builders out there!

Aurora round edge 1.3 specification grade recessed adjustable accent light fixture for plaster or drywall applications. The flush mounted rigid plaster plate, which is finished into the ceiling, maintains a flat finish and secures the removable flush trim. Combining the Pure edge aperture with the Aurora dome and the tilt gear, hidden behind the lamp, creates a clean internal look. Features hot-aiming with 0-30 degree vertical adjustment and 362 degree horizontal rotation without beam clipping. Finished with white non-gloss powder-coat paint, can be painted on-site to match ceiling. The AH1 IC, and air-tight, housing is suitable for remodel and new construction installations. For Elisia, the important thing for her space was…well…the need for more space. She explains: “Space and function were at the top of my design wish list. Those issues were ad-dressed by using corner cabinets and IKEA SEKTION high-gloss slab doors that would be easy to clean.” Specifically, the white, high-gloss cabinetry is featured above the stainless steel compact refrigerator and along the perimeter with two upper cabinets above the gas range — ideal as use as a pantry and for storage of dishes, glassware and serving plates. The base cabinetry runs past the range to the dishwasher along the large breakfast bar, which complements the design with stylish quartz countertops. This also provides additional storage options for pots and pans while keeping an efficient workflow for easy meal prep. The breakfast bar area also provides a suitable space for two to comfortably eat meals. However, finding the right combination of products that fit this design was a bit of a challenge. “The main obstacle was the space, because the whole apartment was pretty small,” she says. “We had to use a small compact fridge to fit it in because I wanted to use every inch of space. I also wanted to make sure we used all the corners since it’s kind of a U-shaped kitchen.”

Inspiration for a timeless kitchen remodel in Boston

Nina’s bathroom had served its purpose for years, but the dated tub, framed shower, and long mirror no longer reflected her style. She chose to reimagine the space into something brighter, more open, and designed for everyday comfort. The large corner tub and framed shower were removed, making way for a spacious curbless design. Arizona Tile Pebble Mosaics in Mica were installed on the floor, paired with a Driftwood grout that brings warmth and texture. Bianco Lasa polished wall tile was placed in a horizontal pattern for balance. An accent band and recessed niches in Siberian Pearl Brushed Amalfi Marble Mosaic introduced dimension, while Delta Trinsic fixtures in matte black created a striking finish. Waypoint Painted Linen 410F cabinets were installed along the 105-inch vanity wall, fitted with Elements Naples matte black handles for a crisp, modern touch. Ultra Shelf Walnut floating shelves in Jacobean were added between sinks for storage and display. Della Terra Quartz in Cortona Gold was selected for the countertops, with a subtle bullnose edge. MSI Surfaces white rectangular undermount sinks were installed, each paired with Delta Trinsic widespread matte black faucets. Above the vanity, Ren Wil Danske beveled mirrors were mounted, complemented by Longshore Tides Angelos 2-light vanity fixtures in plated smoke. The new lighting added warmth while highlighting the polished quartz and cabinet finishes. The walls were painted Dunn Edwards Shady DEC774, with white trim and ceiling paint to match existing finishes, tying the room together in a fresh, cohesive palette. The remodel turned Nina’s bathroom into a calming retreat with timeless materials and thoughtful updates. The new shower, vanity, and consistent finishes elevated the space, providing a fresh balance of beauty and everyday function.

This Gig-Harbor project brought together a full deck rebuild and custom patio cover designed to seamlessly integrate with the home’s existing structure. We began by removing the existing waterproof deck system while preserving the joists, allowing for a strong foundation for the new build. The new patio cover was framed with a 5/12 roof pitch and engineered GLB beams, matched to the home’s top plate for a cohesive look. A pine soffit and black hardware details add warmth and contrast, while the structure was designed to accommodate future roofing by the homeowner. The deck features premium Vintage Collection decking in Weathered Teak, complemented by Dark Hickory borders and fascia for a clean, defined finish. A surface-mounted glass railing system with a rounded top rail provides safety without obstructing views, enhancing the overall modern aesthetic. To elevate comfort and usability, the space includes recessed lighting with dual dimmer controls and two Bromic 6K heaters for year-round enjoyment. Hideaway screens were also incorporated to add privacy and flexibility to the outdoor living area. This project delivers a refined, functional outdoor space built to perform in the Pacific Northwest while maintaining a timeless, high-end look.

Guiselle Bathrooms was handpicked to create one of the bathroom displays as a leading bathroom renovation specialist. Our display enjoys a prime location by the reception area, and we wanted our display to have an instant wow factor. The end result has exceeded our expectations, and our bathroom is regarded as one of the best in the centre! The inspiration behind the display is a natural marble feature tile in Jade. Its deep green colour is visually arresting and works perfectly with the brass tapware and accessories. The brass finish is elegant and sophisticated and has a durability of a hard gold surface. The brass tapware is right on trend and makes the space to stand out from the crowd. Beautiful freestanding bath serves as a visual focus of the bathroom. It’s combined with a sleek floor mounted bath spout. Striking chandelier makes a bold statement with its multi-level design and handblown glass shades.
