This client is expecting twin boys and wanted an ocean-theme mural. She selected the background color of a soft, medium blue and asked for sweet characters and a beluga whale.

Designer Amy Kummer designed this nursery using our popular and beautiful "Collingwood" chinoiserie mural, and framed them instead of using them as a mural.

This is a hand painted mural on a 2000 SF retaining wall that wraps around an indoor play space for a large family. The mural includes images of the family, their friends and extended family. The quaint town scene is a sweet, inviting backdrop for their pool and foosball table, or for a game of indoor soccer on the artificial turf flooring. I incorporated trompe l'oeil elements with realistic scale and also long vistas, so the viewer feels like they can walk right in to the scene.

This hand painted mural of Giants Stadium Graffiti is in my son's room. The letters of his name (Lucas) create a frame for the stadium. Bricks, crumbling plaster and water stains, add an urban grunge feel perfect for an up and coming teenager. All the elements were hashed out clearly with my son ahead of time. We even had a signed contract. He had stipulated bubble letters, and when I decided to make it more angular, he was up in arms about the "breach in contract". In the end, he decided how it turned out was better than he could have imagined. He also has a better understanding of "artistic license".
