Our Austin studio designed this dark-themed highrise condo, creating an elegant, classy space with interesting decor elements. The dark background inverts the usual concept of whites and neutrals yet creates a similar impact of beautifully highlighting the decor aspects. The striking artwork in the living room makes a statement, as does the art in the dining area. In the kitchen and library, the dark background makes the blue and red chairs pop. In the bedroom, the soft furnishings, stylish grey and white headboard, and classy decor create a soothing sanctuary to relax in.

The boys bedroom. Large double Marvin Integrity Casments provide lots of natural light. In the far corner of the bedroom we created a small nock for the owners small children to use as a "hiding space", a detail the small children absolutely loved. The lighthouse lamp with a foot switch continues the nautical theme throughout the bedroom. Throw pillows with nautical rope and the chest with a lighthouse complete the nautical theme. Kids' bedroom - contemporary boy kids' bedroom idea in Miami with multicolored walls

This darling young family of four recently moved to a beautiful home over looking La Jolla Shores. They wanted a home that represented their simple and sophisticated style that would still function as a livable space for their children. We incorporated a subtle nautical concept to blend with the location and dramatic color and texture contrasts to show off the architecture.

Eric designed this loft safety railing from nautical netting , Keeping with the theme of the house and providing an airy, yet safe space. The loft is reached by a built in ladder.

Our Long Island studio designed this jewel-toned residence using a soft blue and white palette to create a classic appeal. In the kitchen, the pale blue backsplash ties in with the theme making the space look elegant. In the dining room, we added comfortable, colorful chairs that add a pop of cheer to the neutral palette. The elegant furniture in the living room and the thoughtful decor create a sophisticated appeal. In the bedroom, we used beautiful, modern wallpaper and a statement lighting piece that creates a dramatic focal point.

Designed with an open floor plan and layered outdoor spaces, the Onaway is a perfect cottage for narrow lakefront lots. The exterior features elements from both the Shingle and Craftsman architectural movements, creating a warm cottage feel. An open main level skillfully disguises this narrow home by using furniture arrangements and low built-ins to define each spaces’ perimeter. Every room has a view to each other as well as a view of the lake. The cottage feel of this home’s exterior is carried inside with a neutral, crisp white, and blue nautical themed palette. The kitchen features natural wood cabinetry and a long island capped by a pub height table with chairs. Above the garage, and separate from the main house, is a series of spaces for plenty of guests to spend the night. The symmetrical bunk room features custom staircases to the top bunks with drawers built in. The best views of the lakefront are found on the master bedrooms private deck, to the rear of the main house. The open floor plan continues downstairs with two large gathering spaces opening up to an outdoor covered patio complete with custom grill pit.

Blue and purple themed dining room with glass globe chandelier, green accents, and textural blue grasscloth on the walls. Purple faux bois fabric on the chairs and ombre hostess chairs. The drapes tie the whole color scheme together.
