This one-room sunroom addition is connected to both an existing wood deck, as well as the dining room inside. As part of the project, the homeowners replaced the deck flooring material with composite decking, which gave us the opportunity to run that material into the addition as well, giving the room a seamless indoor / outdoor transition. We also designed the space to be surrounded with windows on three sides, as well as glass doors and skylights, flooding the interior with natural light and giving the homeowners the visual connection to the outside which they so desired. The addition, 12'-0" wide x 21'-6" long, has enabled the family to enjoy the outdoors both in the early spring, as well as into the fall, and has become a wonderful gathering space for the family and their guests.

A truly soft contemporary look -- clean lines without fuss mix with warm colors and light wood finishes for an inviting whole. A kitchen that you want to cook in. We combined the kitchen entry and pass-thru into one big opening, removing the short hanging cabinets and adding a bar peninsula, to create an open plan kitchen/dining/living area. Next, we moved the refrigerator down, centering it on the wall, removing it from its former cramped corner position. On either side of the refrigerator the homeowner’s wife requested extra wide (42”) deep drawers and more counter space. The range remained in place and gained a stylish stainless chimney hood. For great storage access we added corner swing-out shelves, lots of deep drawers, roll-out shelves and a pull-out trash cabinet. The wall corner cabinets were flared for extra storage and optional lazy susans. The new counter is engineered quartz with a textured finish in a dark charcoal color. The backsplash features large format tile in a variegated pattern of beige and green while the floor tile harmonizes in tones of mossy green. This spectacular new beach kitchen was designed for an older couple with the love of the water in mind. The house is not large but the client wanted the kitchen area to be the main aspect of the design and to be comfortable and serene.The windows were optimized for the maximum view from the eat in kitchen area. The large island was designed for grandchildren to enjoy and to use for buffet dining when cooking outside. The laundry also is a “prep” kitchen that has an additional refrigerator and is where small appliances are stored on the counter to keep the main kitchen counters clutter free. The client asked for a fun seaside kitchen with a neutral backdrop of cabinetry so she could showcase her colorful accessories. We chose classic white cabinetry to complement the maple floors and selected soft white for the wall color to keep harmony with the incredible views. She wanted a no fuss kitchen with lots of counterspace for multiple cooks when her adult kids came to visit. Her husband requested a no or low maintenance countertop as well so we chose a ceasarstone top that mimics traditional carerra marble but without the associated issues with marble tops. To emphasize the beach living atmosphere, we chose a glass that has a slight frosted wave in it and then turned it sideways instead of the traditional vertical application. The knobs and handles are a mix of traditional and modern and are satin nickel to match the sink and faucet and appliances. In addition to the large laundry space, one wall is dedicated to storage and features pullout drawers and houses the microwave as well. Small details such as the open shelf under the upper cabinets to showcase colorful pottery and the wine grid help give some dimension the upper cabinetry.

Debra designed this bathroom to be an unusual special powder bath off the Bistro bar. This features a slab walnut floating counter with lighting. Natural stone marble sink wall. Stainless framed mirror. An Italian egg shaped sink that pierces through the counter and ends below the counter. This amazing sink has an internal ptrap and supply lines. Accessible under the counter. The Walnut modern doors you can see in the reflection are throughout the home. Custom lighting is also featured throughout the home.

This master bath is as tranquil as they come. It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day. This room is gorgeous without a lot of fuss—just clean lines, warm colors, and beautiful finishings. Light is such an important element in this bathroom so the window treatments needed to be just right. Silhouette shadings were chosen for their ability to diffuse harsh light and spread it softly and evenly around the room. They also allow the homeowner to access the golf course views while maintaining a discreet level of privacy.
