The Elivia 2HS (two horizontal stripes) model, a fully integrated member of this interior door collection, was inspired by a sign in musical notation called longa, which consisted of two parallel horizontal lines framed by two vertical stems. It was widely used in the Middle Ages as a symbol for a quadruple whole note (which is a pretty long note, you might say): a note so perfectly placed and of such celestial sound one didn't want it ever to end. What does this have to do with interior doors? Simple: as a timely longa summarized and harmonized the entire music piece for the listener, so will the interior door model you see before you give impart a perfect overall harmony to your decor. It will invite you to enjoy the moment for as long as possible. It is amiable and soothing. As all interior door models in the Elivia collection, this one is highly elegant and easy on the eyes. It comes in a great variety of finishes and in all standard configurations. Custom sizes are also available: just say the word.

SILVER LINING
A city retreat in shades of silver and stone.
DESIGN DESCRIPTION
High above the city, this condo is a calm retreat dressed in dove grey, ivory and gleaming silver. In the living room, a charcoal velvet sofa sits beneath a textural framed artwork, paired with an acrylic-and-glass coffee table that keeps the space feeling open and airy. A tufted wingback with nailhead trim, a silver-leaf stump table and frosted glass sconces add warmth and dimension. The dining area gathers cream upholstered chairs around a glass table beneath a striking multi-arm rod chandelier, steps from a sleek white kitchen with black glass backsplash. In the bedroom, a tall upholstered headboard, a plush fur throw and delicate butterfly art create a soft, restful mood. The bathroom is a jewel box of onyx-look tile, with a cut-crystal vessel sink, a lacquered black vanity and nickel fretwork mirrors. Calm, luminous and beautifully considered, it is a true urban sanctuary.

Included
EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS: shows the front, rear and sides of the house, including exterior materials, details and measurements.
FOUNDATION PLAN: includes drawings for a full, daylight or partial basement. Some of our plans are drawn with a crawlspace, but we do not offer plans with pole foundation. All necessary notations and dimensions are included. Foundation options will vary for each plan. If the home you want does not have the type of foundation you desire, one may be developed for you by contacting us.
DETAILED FLOOR PLANS: shows the placement of the interior walls and the dimensions for rooms, doors, windows, stairways, etc., of each level of the house.
CROSS SECTIONS: shows details of the house as though it were cut in slices from the roof to the foundation. The cross sections specify the home's construction, insulation, flooring and roofing details. Most of our Cross Sections are common sections of that particular style of house. If the house is complex a Cross Section or other form of detail will be included to help explain how parts of that house will fit together.
ROOF DETAILS: shows slope, pitch and location of dormers, gables and other roof elements, including skylights. These details may be shown on the elevation sheet or on a separate diagram. Note: If trusses are used, we suggest using a local truss manufacturer to design your trusses to comply with your local codes and regulations. If Rafters are used we suggest using your local lumber company. Most lumber companies employ structural engineers who can figure out the proper spans and loads for this type of roof system.

It’s no surprise these Hanover clients reached out to Cathy and Ed of Renovisions for design and build services as they wanted a local professional bath specialist to turn their plain builder-grade bath into a luxurious handicapped accessible master bath.
Renovisions had safety and universal design in mind while creating this customized two-person super shower and well-appointed master bath so their clients could escape to a special place to relax and energize their senses while also helping to conserve time and water as it is used simultaneously by them.
This completely water proofed spacious 4’x8’ walk-in curb-less shower with lineal drain system and larger format porcelain tiles was a must have for our senior client –with larger tiles there are less grout lines, easier to clean and easier to maneuver using a walker to enter and exit the master bath.
Renovisions collaborated with their clients to design a spa-like bath with several amenities and added conveniences with safety considerations. The bench seat that spans the width of the wall was a great addition to the shower. It’s a comfortable place to sit down and stretch out and also to keep warm as electric mesh warming materials were used along with a programmable thermostat to keep these homeowners toasty and cozy!
Careful attention to all of the details in this master suite created a peaceful and elegant environment that, simply put, feels divine. Adding details such as the warming towel rack, mosaic tiled shower niche, shiny polished chrome decorative safety grab bars that also serve as towel racks and a towel rack inside the shower area added a measure of style. A stately framed mirror over the pedestal sink matches the warm white painted finish of the linen storage cabinetry that provides functionality and good looks to this space. Pull-down safety grab bars on either side of the comfort height high-efficiency toilet was essential to keep safety as a top priority.
Water, water everywhere for this well deserving couple – multiple shower heads enhances the bathing experience for our client with mobility issues as 54 soft sprays from each wall jet provide a soothing and cleansing effect – a great choice because they do not require gripping and manipulating handles yet provide a sleek look with easy cleaning. The thermostatic valve maintains desired water temperature and volume controls allows the bather to utilize the adjustable hand-held shower on a slide-bar- an ideal fixture to shower and spray down shower area when done.
A beautiful, frameless clear glass enclosure maintains a clean, open look without taking away from the stunning and richly grained marble-look tiles and decorative elements inside the shower. In addition to its therapeutic value, this shower is truly a design focal point of the master bath with striking tile work, beautiful chrome fixtures including several safety grab bars adding aesthetic value as well as safety benefits.

The grey trend has evolved in the last twelve months. Nowadays browns, beige and a touch of grey are in demand. Greige is the new buzzword.
Heavier hand scraped or contoured products, the rage that started around 2005 has taken a back seat in most areas, while a softer wire brushed "ceruse effect" seen mostly on White Oak has been remarkably strong showing no effects of becoming “dated” like the others mentioned.
Ceruse Color Possibilities
There are numerous color combinations to the "cerused" process with the most popular being white or off white. This design trend in hardwood flooring can have darker gray white oak with a mild ceruse off white effect.
There are limitless possibilities in either a prefinished hardwood floor or with what we can create for you in a custom on-site finished hardwood floor.
If something suits your fancy, contact us and we can work on creating just the look and sense of style you are looking for.
