This extensive project involved both an addition and a full renovation of a beautiful 1920s Craftsman home. By adding 200 sqft of living space to the back of the house, we created a stunning primary bedroom complete with a walk-in closet and a luxurious bathroom. Originally a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom house with a less-than-optimal layout, the reconfiguration resulted in a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, making better use of the available space. The overall design of this project is a testament to craftsmanship, featuring numerous custom details and intricate work that honor the home's original character while updating it to meet today's luxury standards. This Craftsman revival beautifully blends historical preservation with modern elegance, creating a timeless and inviting home.

Although this bathroom is small, it doesn't look cramped. Our interior designers placed only the most essential pieces of furniture and sanitary ware in this bathroom. Thanks to this approach, the bathroom looks spacious.
Besides, light plays a big role too. During the day, the bathroom receives sunlight through the windows, and in the evening, the bathroom is flooded with artificial light from the numerous lamps mounted on the walls and ceiling.
We're here to help you make your bathroom as fully functional and attractive as this one!

A previous client (Big Wood Lane) reached out to us to help design a remodel of a recently purchased on the south shore of Lake Minnetonka. The home had grown organically since its original construction in 1945. It had evolved over time to accommodate the needs of its numerous owners. Our client brought a new set of needs to the home that included a desire to make the lake home a comfortable destination for family and friends.
The project consisted of reconfiguring an outdated, inefficient kitchen, expansion of the bedroom wing to include individual bathrooms for bedrooms and redesign of the central stair guard rail.
The redesign of the kitchen included repositioning major appliances for greater efficiency, more seating at an enlarged island, a new pantry, and expanded views to the lake. The expansion of the bedroom wing included eliminating a three-season porch on top of the garage on the inland side of the home. The space above the garage roof was enclosed and turned into dedicated bathrooms for each bedroom. These bathrooms are accessible only from the bathrooms which provide privacy and convenience to visitors.

A beautiful rear exterior featuring a convenient covered patio with a concrete extension, perfect for outdoor relaxation. The numerous windows allow natural light to flood the space, while the classic brick finish adds to the home's charm.

The renovation of this home in the Bucks County countryside updated numerous spaces throughout the house, but the highlight was this beautiful master suite. A custom inlaid medallion in the wood floor at the entryway leads to the master bedroom with a large window allowing plenty of natural light. The focal point of the bedroom is a gas fireplace with a unique petrified wood fireplace surround. Koch glass entry doors lead from the bedroom to both a walk in closet and the master bathroom. The bathroom design features a large shower with a built in seat, shelves, and a Dreamline shower door, plus a freestanding Victoria & Albert tub. The DuraSupreme vanity is framed by a tower cabinet and glass front wall cabinet. This client wanted a relaxing bathroom that brought the ocean to Waterloo, Ontario. The wavy tile in the shower, and the glass teardrop accents in the niche and behind both his & her vanities showcase the movement and sheen of the water, and the soft blue and grey colour scheme allow a warm and cozy, yet fresh feeling overall. The hexagon marble tile on the shower floor was copied behind the soaker tub to define the space, and the furniture style cabinets from Casey’s Creative Kitchens offer an authentic classic look. The oil-rubbed finishes were carried throughout for consistency, and add a true luxury to the bathroom. The client mentioned, ‘…this is an amazing shower’ – the fixtures from Delta offer flexibility and customization. Fantasy Brown granite was used, and inhibites the movement of a stream, bringing together the browns, creams, whites blues and greens. The tile floor has a sandy texture and colour, and gives the feeling of being at the beach. With the sea-inspired colour scheme, and numerous textures and patterns, this bathroom is the perfect oasis from the everyday.
