Remodeled entryway occurs at the end of a long covered walkway. The two door leafs on the right operate while the door leaf on the left is fixed in order to create a symmetrical composition under the arched ceiling. The doors received bronze mirror glass and frame-less bronze mirror was installed above the doors to give the illusion of the continuation of the arched ceiling.

We were hired to combine the main hall bath and a 1/2 bath of the master bedroom. The main bathroom was partially gutted when we started the design project as a severe water event had occurred. The client wanted an economical, but modern looking remodel that would be appealing to buyers in the future when she needed to sell and move to a retirement community as she currently lived alone. The new tub/shower is in the location of the original 1/2 bath. Our homeowner wanted an easy to clean. but modern looking shower and vanity. Lanmark by Lane Marble was chosen as it has no grout and is a seamless product similar to Corian. We created 2 niches in the shower to store bottles to keep them off the tub deck and prevent them from slipping into the shower. An American Standard Princeton bathtub was chosen, so when the client eventually left her home, her home would be appealing to families with small children. For the vanity the same Lanmark color was chosen with 2 integrated sinks for easy cleaning. Delta and Moen faucets, showerheads, and accessories were mix and matched to update the bathroom. Vinyl flooring was also chosen for its ease of cleaning and care. Bamboo cabinetry was added to provide a modern,, timeless, and warm wood tone to the space. In this small home, storage is badly needed so I created a large linen cabinet with a pull-out shelf on the lower shelf for easier access for that shelf. The original 1/2 bath window in the new tub/shower area was replaced with a new vinyl window and wrapped with Lanmark to provide a watertight system. To give plenty of lighting at the vanity, George Kovacs LED lights fixtures were installed over each sink. We loved helping this customer pick out three different stair runner styles for three staircases. ? ➡️The first one pictured is called Cheshire Collection in hushed white. We really liked this look as it has subtle chevron pattern that complemented the wallpaper. ➡️The second one pictured is called Nature’s Field. As this staircase is where a lot of high traffic will occur she picked a durable nylon pattern that will sustain the high traffic area. ➡️The third one pictured is called Modern Art. She wanted something simple and durable which is exactly Modern Art.

This project is a great example of how the different divisions under Provost Companies can come together to create exceptional results for this construction project in Wellesley, MA. This project consists of the initial site work including, excavating and re-grading the property to improve drainage and access. Our construction division was tasked with replacing some of the exterior siding and installing a new deck on the home. To provide more value to the client we installed waterproof taping on the top of all our joists to help prevent moisture from entering. We leave the bottom and side open so it can breathe. This prevents moisture from falling directly into the inevitable splits (specifically at the top of the joist where it will take direct rain and water infiltration) that occur in PT lumber. This wasn’t our idea, and we aren’t taking credit for it, it’s just a best practice we follow to provide more value to the client. Yes, using steel joists is a superior solution but steel is often outside of the budget. Our landscape construction team was tasked with re-grading the yard, installing a bluestone patio and fieldstone retention wall.
