THIS WAS A PLAN DESIGN ONLY PROJECT. The Fetterbush is a country European estate that contains all of the modern favorites. At 3,319 heated square feet, the towering two-story Foyer and coffered Great Room welcomes, leading to the well appointed Kitchen, Living and Dining Areas. Classic formal areas are positioned off of the Foyer, all sharing the calming ambiance fit for entertaining. The home's first floor contains the Kitchen, Formal Dining Room, a Transitional Room with a cathedral ceiling, Powder Room, Laundry Room and Pantry off of an alcove at the Kitchen, a bayed Informal Dining Area off of the Kitchen, and a Butler's Pantry. The Master Suite is tucked off the rear of the home with a bayed Sitting Space, tiered crowned tray ceiling, cathedral ceiling Master Bathroom with extra large shower, soaking tub, toilet room and two walk-in closets. The second floor does not forget the luxury, with 3- Bedroom Suites with baths either shared or open to the common area upstairs. Also provided is a very large Bonus Room with a Media Room nook, large enough for seating for 8.

As written in Northern Home & Cottage by Elizabeth Edwards In general, Bryan and Connie Rellinger loved the charm of the old cottage they purchased on a Crooked Lake peninsula, north of Petoskey. Specifically, however, the presence of a live-well in the kitchen (a huge cement basin with running water for keeping fish alive was right in the kitchen entryway, seriously), rickety staircase and green shag carpet, not so much. An extreme renovation was the only solution. The downside? The rebuild would have to fit into the smallish nonconforming footprint. The upside? That footprint was built when folks could place a building close enough to the water to feel like they could dive in from the house. Ahhh... Stephanie Baldwin of Edgewater Design helped the Rellingers come up with a timeless cottage design that breathes efficiency into every nook and cranny. It also expresses the synergy of Bryan, Connie and Stephanie, who emailed each other links to products they liked throughout the building process. That teamwork resulted in an interior that sports a young take on classic cottage. Highlights include a brass sink and light fixtures, coffered ceilings with wide beadboard planks, leathered granite kitchen counters and a way-cool floor made of American chestnut planks from an old barn. Thanks to an abundant use of windows that deliver a grand view of Crooked Lake, the home feels airy and much larger than it is. Bryan and Connie also love how well the layout functions for their family - especially when they are entertaining. The kids' bedrooms are off a large landing at the top of the stairs - roomy enough to double as an entertainment room. When the adults are enjoying cocktail hour or a dinner party downstairs, they can pull a sliding door across the kitchen/great room area to seal it off from the kids' ruckus upstairs (or vice versa!). Our clients came to us because they were tired of looking at the side of their neighbor’s house from their master bedroom window! Their 1959 Dallas home had worked great for them for years, but it was time for an update and reconfiguration to make it more functional for their family. They were looking to open up their dark and choppy space to bring in as much natural light as possible in both the bedroom and bathroom. They knew they would need to reconfigure the master bathroom and bedroom to make this happen. They were thinking the current bedroom would become the bathroom, but they weren’t sure where everything else would go. This is where we came in! Our designers were able to create their new floorplan and show them a 3D rendering of exactly what the new spaces would look like. The space that used to be the master bedroom now consists of the hallway into their new master suite, which includes a new large walk-in closet where the washer and dryer are now located. From there, the space flows into their new beautiful, contemporary bathroom. They decided that a bathtub wasn’t important to them but a large double shower was! So, the new shower became the focal point of the bathroom. The new shower has contemporary Marine Bone Electra cement hexagon tiles and brushed bronze hardware. A large bench, hidden storage, and a rain shower head were must-have features. Pure Snow glass tile was installed on the two side walls while Carrara Marble Bianco hexagon mosaic tile was installed for the shower floor. For the main bathroom floor, we installed a simple Yosemite tile in matte silver. The new Bellmont cabinets, painted naval, are complemented by the Greylac marble countertop and the Brainerd champagne bronze arched cabinet pulls. The rest of the hardware, including the faucet, towel rods, towel rings, and robe hooks, are Delta Faucet Trinsic, in a classic champagne bronze finish. To finish it off, three 14” Classic Possini Euro Ludlow wall sconces in burnished brass were installed between each sheet mirror above the vanity. In the space that used to be the master bathroom, all of the furr downs were removed. We replaced the existing window with three large windows, opening up the view to the backyard. We also added a new door opening up into the main living room, which was totally closed off before. Our clients absolutely love their cool, bright, contemporary bathroom, as well as the new wall of windows in their master bedroom, where they are now able to enjoy their beautiful backyard!

Mid-century was the peak of Palm Springs glamour, and the inspiration behind this room designed by Beth Dotolo and Carolina Gentry. The angular lines of the Seagram® Freestanding Soaking Tub made it a dynamic focal point for their design. Behind it lies the tropical indoor/ outdoor shower, a refreshing expression of desert modernism. Bright whites, bursts of colors and organic patterns are all set off by a few rich hits of quirky fun, setting the tone for a true sense of leisure that’s as timeless today as it was yesterday.

Inspiration for a mid-sized craftsman beige one-story wood house exterior remodel in Sacramento with a hip roof and a shingle roof

We were hired to add space to their cottage while still maintaining the current architectural style. We enlarged the home's living area, created a larger mudroom off the garage entry, enlarged the screen porch and created a covered porch off the dining room and the existing deck was also enlarged. On the second level, we added an additional bunk room, bathroom, and new access to the bonus room above the garage. The exterior was also embellished with timber beams and brackets as well as a stunning new balcony off the master bedroom. The Ross Peak Exterior combines both metal and wooden elements along with a variety of other custom designs original to the Brandner Design Team. Majority of the exterior is clad in Brandner Design’s Metal Panel Rainscreen System, finished in Sandblasted Blackened Stainless Steel. The industrial steel is juxtapose next to the unique Shou Sugi Ban in Natural Heavy Wire Wheel featuring our clean wire wheeled finish that shows off the true grain of the burnt boards. Also shown is our Heavy Alligator Burn which does not receive heavy wire wheeling. Metal and wood options are available for your custom design.
