A home office off the kitchen can be concealed with a pocket door. Gray-painted maple Wood-Mode cabinetry complements the kitchen finishes but makes the space unique. **Project Overview** A small, quiet, efficient office space for one that is perfect for sorting mail and paying bills. Though small it has a great deal of natural light and views out the front of the house of the lush landscaping and wildlife. A pocket door makes the office disappear when it's time to entertain. **What Makes This Project Unique?** Small yet incredibly functional, this desk space is a comfortable, quiet place to catch up on home management tasks. Filled with natural light and offering a view of lush landscaping, the compact space is light and airy. To keep it from feeling cramped or crowded, we complemented warm gray-painted maple cabinetry with light countertops and tile. Taller ceilings allow ample storage, including full-height open storage, to manage all of the papers, files and extras that find their way into the home. **Design Challenges** While the office was intentionally designed into a tiny nook off the kitchen and pantry, we didn't want it to feel small for the people using it. By keeping the color palette light, taking cabinetry to the ceiling, incorporating open storage and maximizing natural light, the space feels cozy, and larger than it actually is. On a quiet cul-de-sac not too far from downtown San Luis Obispo lies the contemporary craftsman styled Clausen Residence. The challenges that accompanied this project were what, in the end, made it so interesting. The buildable area of the site is very small due to the fact that almost half of the property is occupied by a biological open space easement, established to protect the creek that runs behind the lot. In addition to this, the site is incredibly steep, which lent itself well to a stair stepped 3-story floor plan. Strict height restrictions set by the local jurisdiction governed the decision to bury the garage in the hill, and set the main living space on top of it, accompanied by the children’s bedrooms and game room further back on the site. The 3rd floor is occupied fully by the master suite, which looks down on the back yard below. Off of the great room is a vast deck, with built in barbecue, fire place and heaters, ideal for outdoor entertaining year round. The house, adorned in lap siding and true craftsman details is flanked by gorgeous oak trees and the creek beyond.

The owners of Moonlight Basin Ranch are from the southeast, and they wanted to start a tradition of skiing, hiking, and enjoying everything that comes with the classic Montana mountain lifestyle as a family. The home that we created for them was built on a spectacular piece of property within Moonlight Basin (Resort), in Big Sky, Montana. The views of Lone Peak are breathtaking from this approximately 6500 square foot, 4 bedroom home, and elk, moose, and grizzly can be seen wandering on the sloping terrain just outside its expansive windows. To further embrace the Rocky Mountain mood that the owners envisioned—and because of a shared love for Yellowstone Park architecture—we utilized reclaimed hewn logs, bark-on cedar log posts, and indigenous stone. The rich, rustic details in the home are an intended continuation of the landscape that surrounds this magnificent home.

The Alyssa II a perfectly designed 2,764 sq ft split bedroom ranch complete with the amenities today’s buyers are looking for. The Alyssa II, with its craftsman flair features exceptional architectural detail including an arched covered porch, which is grounded with ledge stone columns, Shaker town cedar shakes and cedar truss details in the gables that accentuate the beauty of this exquisite design. This is one of our most recent all inclusive hardscape and landscape projects completed for wonderful clients in Sandy Springs / North Atlanta, GA. Project consisted of completely stripping backyard and creating a clean pallet for new stone and boulder retaining walls, a firepit and stone masonry bench seating area, an amazing flagstone patio area which also included an outdoor stone kitchen and custom chimney along with a cedar pavilion. Stone and pebble pathways with incredible night lighting. Landscape included an incredible array of plant and tree species , new sod and irrigation and potted plant installations. THIS WAS A PLAN DESIGN ONLY PROJECT. The Fetterbush is a country European estate that contains all of the modern favorites. At 3,319 heated square feet, the towering two-story Foyer and coffered Great Room welcomes, leading to the well appointed Kitchen, Living and Dining Areas. Classic formal areas are positioned off of the Foyer, all sharing the calming ambiance fit for entertaining. The home's first floor contains the Kitchen, Formal Dining Room, a Transitional Room with a cathedral ceiling, Powder Room, Laundry Room and Pantry off of an alcove at the Kitchen, a bayed Informal Dining Area off of the Kitchen, and a Butler's Pantry. The Master Suite is tucked off the rear of the home with a bayed Sitting Space, tiered crowned tray ceiling, cathedral ceiling Master Bathroom with extra large shower, soaking tub, toilet room and two walk-in closets. The second floor does not forget the luxury, with 3- Bedroom Suites with baths either shared or open to the common area upstairs. Also provided is a very large Bonus Room with a Media Room nook, large enough for seating for 8.
