Backyard of a Northern Italian Villa Style home in a gated community called Pelican Crest in the secluded town of Newport Coast.
This home is on Pelicans Road which is possibly the most exclusive cul-de-sac of Pelican Crest.
The project started in 2006 and was completed by 2008, stone was supplied by one of our middleman local broker at the time.
All antique limestone floors were the 'Arcane' Limestone blend which is a Mediterranean Reclaimed Limestone collection that is a few centuries old.
This wonderful home has been featured in several media outlets and in both local and national print and digital publications. The home had been sold for about $15,800,000 in May 2013 by its original owners.
It is now back on the market for a whooping $20,000,000 as of April 2016 if you like to know!
Since 2010 We have seen more than 10 homes valued between $10M to $20M selling in this one gated community all of which contained our stone elements in one capacity or another.

Our clients, a young family wanted to remodel their two story home located in one of the most exclusive and beautiful areas of Miami. Mediterranean style home builded in the 80 in need of a huge renovation, old fashioned kitchen with light pink sinks, wall cabinets all over the kitchen and dinette area.
We begin by demolishing the kitchen, we opened a wall for a playroom area next to the informal dining; easy for parents to supervise the little. A formal foyer with beautiful entrance to living room. We did a replica of the main entrance arch to the kitchen entrance so there is a continuity from exterior to interior.

Almost every room in the house offers stunning views of the outdoor living space and golf course. The dining room is subtly elegant creating an intimate dining space but also a space to enjoy looking outdoors. The custom chairs have a curved back design to contrast with the linear dining table. The host and hostess chairs add texture and Texas chic with their velvet alligator skin fabric. Permanently set, the tableware sparkles under the crystal chandelier revitalized by a talented faux finisher.

Bathroom - large eclectic master white tile and stone tile marble floor bathroom idea in New York with a console sink, a two-piece toilet, quartz countertops, furniture-like cabinets and white walls

Who said that a Burbank bungalow home needs to be doll and old fashioned.
In this Burbank remodeling project we took this 1200sq. bungalow home and turned it to a wonderful mixture of European modern kitchen space and calm transitional modern farmhouse furniture and flooring.
The kitchen was a true challenge since space was a rare commodity, but with the right layout storage and work space became abundant.
A floating 5' long sitting area was constructed and even the back face of the cabinets was used for wine racks.
Exterior was updated as well with new black windows, new stucco over layer and new light fixtures all around.
both bedrooms were fitted with huge 10' sliding doors overlooking the green backyard.

Old farmhouses offer charm and character but usually need some careful changes to efficiently serve the needs of today’s families. This blended family of four desperately desired a master bath and walk-in closet in keeping with the exceptional features of the home. At the top of the list were a large shower, double vanity, and a private toilet area. They also requested additional storage for bathroom items. Windows, doorways could not be relocated, but certain nonloadbearing walls could be removed. Gorgeous antique flooring had to be patched where walls were removed without being noticeable. Original interior doors and woodwork were restored. Deep window sills give hints to the thick stone exterior walls. A local reproduction furniture maker with national accolades was the perfect choice for the cabinetry which was hand planed and hand finished the way furniture was built long ago. Even the wood tops on the beautiful dresser and bench were rich with dimension from these techniques. The legs on the double vanity were hand turned by Amish woodworkers to add to the farmhouse flair. Marble tops and tile as well as antique style fixtures were chosen to complement the classic look of everything else in the room. It was important to choose contractors and installers experienced in historic remodeling as the old systems had to be carefully updated. Every item on the wish list was achieved in this project from functional storage and a private water closet to every aesthetic detail desired. If only the farmers who originally inhabited this home could see it now! Matt Villano Photography

“This design originated with the client’s desire to duplicate the warmth of Tuscan Architecture,” says Stolz. “The vision that South Coast Architects set forth was to create the feel of an old Tuscan Village as a private residence at their golf community, ‘The Hideaway’ in La Quinta, California. However, we had to keep in mind that we were still designing for a desert lifestyle, which meant an emphasis on indoor/outdoor living and capturing the spectacular views of the golf course and neighboring mountains,” Stolz adds.
“The owners had spent a lot of time in Europe and knew exactly what they wanted when it came to the overall look of the home, especially the stone,” says Muth. “The mason ended up creating a dozen mock-ups of various stone profiles and blends to help the family decide what really worked for them. Ultimately, they selected Eldorado Stone’s Orchard Cypress Ridge profile that offers a beautiful blend of stone sizes and colors.”
“The generous use of Eldorado Stone with brick detailing over the majority of the exterior of the home added the authenticity and timelessness that we were striving for in the design,” says Stolz.
“Our clients want the very best, but if we can duplicate something and save money, what client would say no? That’s why we use Eldorado Stone whenever we can. It gives us the opportunity to save money and gives clients exactly the look they desire so we can use more of their budget in other areas.”
Stolz explained that Eldorado Stone was also brought into the interior to continue that feel of authenticity and historical accuracy. Stone is used floor to ceiling in the kitchen for a pizza oven, as well as on the fireplace in the Great Room and on an entire wall in the master bedroom. “Using a material like Eldorado Stone allows for the seamless continuation of space” says Stolz.
“Stone is what made the house so authentic-looking” says Muth. “It’s such an integral part of the house that it either was going to be a make or break scenario if we made the wrong choice. Luckily, Eldorado Stone really made it!”

When our clients purchased this gorgeous old rambling home in a leafy Seattle neighbourhood, they knew it would be their “forever” home. However it needed a lot of work! It had been remodeled over the years in ways that were now sadly dated, so our design process began with understanding the value of what was existing and worth keeping.
We knew from the start that it was crucial to restore and respect the historic elements of the house. But the owners also wanted to introduce a very modern, clean element into the mix, creating an edgy blend of old and very new.
