This condo underwent an amazing transformation! The kitchen was moved from one side of the condo to the other so the homeowner could take advantage of the beautiful view. This beautiful hutch makes a wonderful serving counter and the tower on the left hides a supporting column. The beams in the ceiling are not only a great architectural detail but they allow for lighting that could not otherwise be added to the condos concrete ceiling. The lovely crown around the room also conceals solar shades and drapery rods.

We took a tiny outdated bathroom and doubled the width of it by taking the unused dormers on both sides that were just dead space. We completely updated it with contrasting herringbone tile and gave it a modern masculine and timeless vibe. This bathroom features a custom solid walnut cabinet designed by Buck Wimberly.

The client’s coastal New England roots inspired this Shingle style design for a lakefront lot. With a background in interior design, her ideas strongly influenced the process, presenting both challenge and reward in executing her exact vision. Vintage coastal style grounds a thoroughly modern open floor plan, designed to house a busy family with three active children. A primary focus was the kitchen, and more importantly, the butler’s pantry tucked behind it. Flowing logically from the garage entry and mudroom, and with two access points from the main kitchen, it fulfills the utilitarian functions of storage and prep, leaving the main kitchen free to shine as an integral part of the open living area. This great room is stunning! Tall wood windows and doors, exposed trusses and the private view make the room a perfect blank canvas. The room was lacking contrast, lighting, window treatments and functional furniture to make the space usable by the entire family. By creating custom furniture we maximized seating while keeping the furniture scale within proportion for the room. New carpet, beautiful herringbone fabric wallpaper and a very long console to house the children's toys rounds out this spectacular room.
