Katz Builders, Inc.Home had stone fireplace and mantle that matched the exterior stone of the home (Austin Limestone) along with a raised hearth. Dark, narrow plank hardwood flooring was removed as was the second double door in the great room. It was replaced by a large operable window to match window in the breakfast area. Although the space was already light and airy so many doors created confusion as to which door to use to exit. Living LabsPlacing the shower controls at the front of the shower keeps users from getting wet or sprayed with water that is too hot or cold. We used the "single fist" approach in selecting all materials so that regardless of grip, anyone could independently operate the shower. The foam niche enabled the line to go through the seat itself without excessive additional plumbing costs. The use of higher end, darker tile on the seat and niche are good for visual acuity.
