Inspiration for a large tropical master light wood floor and beige floor bedroom remodel in Hawaii with white walls and no fireplace

The major objective of this home was to craft something entirely unique; based on our client’s international travels, and tailored to their ideal lifestyle. Every detail, selection and method was individual to this project. The design included personal touches like a dog shower for their Great Dane, a bar downstairs to entertain, and a TV tucked away in the den instead of on display in the living room. Great design doesn’t just happen. It’s a product of work, thought and exploration. For our clients, they looked to hotels they love in New York and Croatia, Danish design, and buildings that are architecturally artistic and ideal for displaying art. Our part was to take these ideas and actually build them. Every door knob, hinge, material, color, etc. was meticulously researched and crafted. Most of the selections are custom built either by us, or by hired craftsman.

This photo shows the Sun/Moon Garden design. The standing reclaimed barn stones represent the eight planets in their orbit around the sun. The circular orbits are suggested through the use of plant material. The day and night color theme seasonally ripples throughout the entire design. This unique glass tile violin pool design & installation includes both geometric as well as straight lines to create a piece of true art. In the bottom corner of the violin, there is a spa that appears like a chinrest for the violinist. On the other end, over 90’ away, the pool practically transforms into a lap pool running up the neck of the violin. In order to maintain a refined look, every single detail was included in the violin design, such as the tuning pegs, upper and lower bouts, F-holes, the purfling and strings.

This compact yet functional living room is brought to life with large glazed doors and windows. Traditional mouldings including new door trim, crown moulding and base help to ground the space in traditional elements.

This couple purchased a second home as a respite from city living. Living primarily in downtown Chicago the couple desired a place to connect with nature. The home is located on 80 acres and is situated far back on a wooded lot with a pond, pool and a detached rec room. The home includes four bedrooms and one bunkroom along with five full baths. The home was stripped down to the studs, a total gut. Linc modified the exterior and created a modern look by removing the balconies on the exterior, removing the roof overhang, adding vertical siding and painting the structure black. The garage was converted into a detached rec room and a new pool was added complete with outdoor shower, concrete pavers, ipe wood wall and a limestone surround. Living Room Details: Two-story space open to the kitchen features a cultured cut stone fireplace and wood niche. The front and rear of the house were re-clad with James Hardie board-and-batten siding for a traditional farmhouse feel, while the middle section of the house was re-clad with a more modern large-scale James Hardie cement fiberboard panel system. The front windows were re-designed to provide an ordered facade. The upper window is detailed with barn door shudders. The downspouts were replaced and re-located to help to break up the different sections of the house, while blending in with the linear siding. Additional Integrity windows were installed on the exposed side of the house to allow for more natural sunlight.

Sea Pearl Quartzite slabs were used on an entire wall and around the vanity and served as this ethereal palette inspiration.
